Unchaperoned [Completed]
Character(s): Naminé, open
Content: Obligatory entrance post
Setting: Muspelheim Gate
Time: Morning
Warnings: none
One more blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl standing quietly in the queue was nothing unusual, except that this one seemed almost unduly fascinated with the gate in front of her. It was a weird feeling of familiarity combined with newness, all so surprisingly... real. And at any rate, so much better than the white room. Naminé supposed she should be grateful for that. To be honest, she had only been half sure she wanted to come at all, but now that she was actually here, it was much easier to believe that she did.
Although she was on her own, she had no illusions of being unsupervised. She never really was. It was only because they'd allowed her this little bit of autonomy that she was here at all, and they'd made it abundantly clear that if she so much as put a toe out of line, she'd be gone just as quickly. Well, all right, she could handle that, couldn't she...?
The line moved ahead, and she finally came up to the front. However nice it was, it was just a change of scenery, nothing more.
"Welcome to Paixao, miss!" said the man in the booth. "Can I get your name?"
She gave him the best smile she could. "It's Naminé."

no subject
So, off she went, leaving Luffy alone with the skiddish young woman. He immediately set himself at ease, appearing more relaxed and much more like his usual friendly self.
"Sorry about that!" he declared suddenly, gingerly rubbing the back of his neck in a rather embarassed fashion. "Maybe I got carried away, but I know it's easy to get a little scared coming here. I didn't want it to be any worse for you."
Giving out a yawn and a quick little stretch, Luffy seemed to decide that he'd done more than enough, and it was time to set his mind to something else. Breakfast, maybe? Before he could leave with a sound conscience, however, he turned and glanced at Naminé one last time. "So, you're going to be alright? You kinda seem like you know where you're going..."
