Because it's Totally Cool to Barge into Rooms [Active]
Character(s): Nina Tucker, Haku, Naruto
Content: Nina's wandering around the hotel. There's an open door; she walks in.
Setting: Actua Are
Time: night
Warnings: none
Nina wasn't about to leave the hotel, but the day's excitements left her too wound up to sleep. So, leaving Alexander to watch the room, she had let herself out and started looking around. The hotel was big, and there were lots of interesting nooks and crannies to explore! Every door she had seen so far was closed, though, so when she spotted an open one, she ran to it immediately.
Poking her head through the door, she looked to see who was inside. It was nice to meet new people, after all. "Hello?"

"Hello?"

"Hello," the effeminate shinobi replied in greeting. "Are you lost?" He offered Nina a smile.

Sitting up, he stretched himself out and listened more carefully for a moment. Haku was talking so there was definitely someone there. Gingerly he got out of bed and moved over to the next room to see who it was.
"Whossat?" He asked, not bothering to suppress the huge yawn that was coming as he rubbed his eyes sleepily.
no subject
When a blond-haired boy joined his friend, she giggled a bit at the yawn, grinned even wider, and asked the obvious question--at least, obvious to her:
"Are you two married?"
no subject
He glanced at Naruto as the blond joined them, offering his friend a smile. The effeminate shinobi was glad that Naruto had gotten some rest, and he already looked better than he had before. Much better.
And when Nina asked if they were married... the automatic answer was "No!"
no subject
"M-MARRIED!? N-No, Haku's a guy!" This statement was accompanied by lots of unnecessary flailing which probably just made him look like a spaz. At least it was an indication he was back to good health and being energetic as usual. Although Naruto wasn't thinking about his health at the moment.
Did it really look they could be a married couple?
no subject
She pointed at his hair. "Look, his hair's long! And he looks like a girl."
And then she tilted her head at Naruto a bit. "You were sleeping. Do you both live here?"
no subject
"Of course I'm a boy. Appearances can be deceiving," he told Nina. "And deception is a ninja's best friend." He smiled and shook his head. "We're just staying here for the time being. Like everyone else around here, we need a place to cool our heels."
no subject
"I was sick," he replied to the comment and nodded at Haku's answer, it'd be weird living in a hotel.
no subject
"You're ninjas?" Nina gasped, with all the awe a four-year-old could muster. And then she ran over to pat Naruto on the--well, leg. She wasn't tall enough to pat him on the head. "Are you feeling better now?"
no subject
"I helped fix Naruto-kun up while he was sick," he told Nina. "I don't like to see my friends feeling under the weather."
no subject
"I'm fine now, Haku took care of me," he chuckled and returned the gesture by ruffling her hair. Well, Zetsu had too but he wasn't about to explain the plant-man to a four-year-old girl. The Jinchuuriki had to admit that this kid was quite endearing.
no subject
And she looked downcast. She'd been busy lately, but the fact remained that her father was nowhere to be found, and apparently hadn't been able to bring her back. But he'd rescue her, though, right?
no subject
"I'm sorry your father isn't here," Haku told Nina. "A lot of people seem to be missing family members and friends here. Maybe you can find some good friends to take care of you until you go home?"
no subject
"I'm sure you'll find your dad someday. Isn't anyone taking care of you now?" The thought of a four-year old being alone was a worrying one.
no subject
She would have hated to be alone, but she wasn't. So it wasn't as bad as it could have been, right? She had friends here. She missed her father... But surely he was trying to get to Paixao and find her? He must have been. She loved her father, and he loved her, and they were family!
"Will you be my friends, too?"
no subject
"If you'd like us to be your friends, I have no objections," he told her.
no subject
"Of course! You get to be the friend of the future-hokage!"
no subject
She looked up at Naruto curiously. "What's a ho-kah-gay?"
no subject
"A Hokage is the leader of Konoha, the village where Naruto-kun is from," Haku told Nina. "The leader of my village is called the Mizukage. They're the most powerful ninja in the village."
no subject
"Yup! Also the strongest ninja in the village," he nodded enthusiastically.
no subject
She hopped up and down excitedly. Ninja things were bound to be really cool, after all.
