I'll never stray again... [Active]

Character(s): Rose, the Doctor
Content: Rose is still waiting, but she doesn't lose faith! Her Doctor comes :3
Setting: Muspelheim
Time: Late afternoon
Warnings: Happy-squeeing-gush charries? :DDD YAY REUNIONS!

Rose scuffed a shoe against the ground, distracting herself with the silvery strands of grass and the similar tree leaves. Since she had sent Vincent on his way, she had sat back in the bench, got up, wandered around, sat back down, people-watched, and rinsed it all, lathered it up, and repeated. She sighed, folded her arms over her black jacket, and looked down at her shoe.

She knew that the TARDIS wasn't in tip-top-shape here, but then, was the TARDIS ever in tip-top-shape? If her cell phone barely functioned, then the ship would have trouble too. She knew this, and didn't lose any faith... she just hated waiting. To think earlier (this afternoon?) she had thought she would never see him again, surely never again in the flesh.

Her fingers twitch where they gripped her elbows. She shifted weight from one foot to another.

In some odd way it seemed too soon, but then, it also wasn't soon enough.

But with a small chuckle, she hoped her mum wasn't flipping her lid about her disappearance. She'd probably be blaming the Doctor about it, too. The thought settled Rose, just a bit.

Having dropped Kit off over at the hotel, the Doctor had steered the TARDIS towards the Muspelheim gate. Parking it in an alleyway, the quickly stepped out into the street, ignoring the somewhat strange looks of the locals who'd seen the flying box disapear into the alleyway.

It reminded him why he didn't usually fly the TARDIS anywhere. Dematerializing was so less obtrusive and attention getting, but oh well. Wasn't any helping it really, was their?

The Doctor would fly the TARDIS across this whole city for everyone to see if it meant reuniting with Rose... as it happened he hadn't had to quite do that, of course, but he'd certainly flown it a fair ways.

Now, where was Rose? Had to be around here somewhere... He knew she was near the gate, but maybe he should have asked for a more specific location.

He supposed he could always call her, but... Oh wait, was that her? The Doctor spotted the back of a figure sitting alone on a bench. He couldn't help the massive grin forming on his face, but managed to keep his excitement in check for the moment. Stuffing his hands in his trowser pockets, he strolled up behind her.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were waiting for someone."
