The King is Dead, Long Live the King! [active]
Character(s): Zexion
Content: Wandering and people-watching, mostly.
Setting: Central Station.
Time: Early afternoon
Warnings: None
So the mayor was dead then. Dead, and no doubt people were already suspecting him and his fellows for his death. Naturally, they would be quite correct in their assumptions, but he was hardly going to be the one to mention it. Bringing up that he knew who to pin the death of the late mayor on would not only draw suspicion, but also a good deal of attention and while suspicion he could handle (if it came up) he didn't much care for attention. Or at least not the kind that that announcement would draw. He'd leave the drawing-of-attention to some of the others.
And in the meantime, he doubted any harm would come of merely watching the passers by. True, there were fewer here than at the gates perhaps, but it was far less likely that he would be accosted by newcomers this way. And besides, it was far easier to look as though he belonged among this crowds then those that surrounded the gates. All he needed to do was look as if he was waiting for someone and the rest of the people would simply pay him no real heed. He was just another face in the crowd to them, and that was all for the better, as far as he was concerned.

"Lilo, I never did ask you, how did you end up here?" He asked, not hearing or seeing anything threatening to them in the station.
no subject
"I don't know. I was just walking home from hula class and somehow I ended up outside the gate." She offered a shrug. "How did you get here?"
no subject
However, he couldn't quite pick up what they were saying from where he was currently standing, but that was fixed easily enough, as he began to drift closer to the pair.
no subject
"It was interesting, to say the least."

"You should be more careful when you're out in a spaceship, Stitch." She didn't want to lose her best friend because of some accident, after all.
no subject
Not that he had any intentions of whisking anyone away at the moment. For now he was simply content to watch and gather information. And if the pair didn't notice him standing nearby, so much the better for him.

ooc: sorry its so short, brain fry from thesis.
no subject
"Just be more careful next time, okay? I don't want to lose my best friend." Especially not in a strange place like this.
no subject
Not that it really mattered much in either case. At the moment he was rather surprised that neither of them had noticed him quietly eavesdropping on the conversation, although he supposed that could be forgiven, given that this seemed something like a reunion of sorts.
no subject
"Oh, I need to tell you. Stay away from people in black cloaks. They're not good." He said, talking quieter than earlier. "People think they're up to no good..."
no subject
"I'll keep an eye out, Stitch," she told her friend. Of course, she wasn't afraid. Who would be, after dealing with Gantu and Jumba and Pleakley? "If you stay with me, we can avoid them together."
no subject
Not that he was planning to let them know that of course. It would hardly be beneficial in the long run. Far better to wait patiently and bide his time, picking up what little he could from the conversation. True, it might not necessarily by of any use, anything he picked up here, but that wasn't going to dissuade him at the moment.
Besides, if he was lucky maybe he'd find a place to work himself into the conversation.
no subject
"Hold on, I'm going to take a look around." Stitch quickly climbed up a light pole to glance around and see what he could see.
[[ooc: sorry, thesis ate my soul, but it's due today, so I should be better at keeping up with tags.]]
no subject
"Be careful, Stitch," she cautioned, following the blue alien with her eyes as he climbed. The warning wasn't necessary, not really. Lilo more than knew Stitch could take care of himself. But it just felt right to say it.

So with one last glance at the pair, Zexion moved back into the crowd of people and within a matter of moments was gone.
no subject
Sliding down, he stood next to Lilo again. "Well, I don't know what to do now. I say we find something to do!" He smiled, still just glad to have his 'partner-in-crime' around again.
