A Reunion Long in Coming [Active]

Characters: Ash, Marona, and Death
Content: The title says it all. XD; Death takes Ash to meet with Marona.
Setting: Near Auntie Unde's [H7]
Time: Evening
Warnings: Unbelievable cuteness?

The walk had been rather short. Auntie Unde's, it seemed, was much closer than Death had originally thought. A good thing, too - he'd thought the ghost next to him would burst with excitement if the walk had taken any longer than it had.

He'd seen a ghost do that before, actually. The explosion was a rather interesting phenomenon, though Death didn't believe it would be such a good thing in the present situation.

ACCORDING TO THE MAP, THAT IS AUNTIE UNDE'S, he said to Ash, gesturing to a building several blocks ahead of them. MARONA SHOULD BE THERE. He kept his pace the same as it had been the entire trip: steady but quick. They should be there shortly.

Ash nodded half-heartedly, his attention was drawn away from Death for once. His eyes darted back and forth across the street, he would spot Marona the moment he saw a fiber of her, he was sure of it. As a phantom, vision and hearing were his most important senses... and some of the only ones he had left. Even now, he was beginning to notice particular things about Paixao that he wouldn't have noticed before. Really, it wasn't that he didn't care about others, his mind was just focused on one thing and one thing only.

Certainly, if he wasn't already a spirit, Ash would have tripped and landed on his face by now. His anxiety was getting to him, and he knew he was being careless. None of that mattered, even though he knew Marona was okay... that wasn't enough to him. He didn't like believing anything others had to say unless he could see it with his own eyes. This was definitively one of those moments.

... Marona. Marona was here! He could feel it.
Even in a sea of people, they would still remain close to each other. At that moment, his eye caught the fainted glimmer of green. A familiar green, if he had a heart it would have stopped for that brief moment.

"Ma-..." His voice was barely a whisper, "Marona?"
