To say Montblanc was confused right now would be an understatement. He'd been out in the Estersand with his friends, looking (unsuccessfully so far) for the red Saurian they'd been hired to hunt, and they'd just decided to head back to Rabanastre and call it a day when he'd stumbled - not even really tripped - and suddenly he was here.

He frankly couldn't think of any way it could've happened. It didn't make sense.

He'd gotten in line, told them his name, been given a journal - funny device, that was, he kind of wondered what Nono would think of it - and gone inside. But what he'd found when he put up a notice on the journal didn't help him make sense of things much. Balthier and Fran were here, and apparently Basch, too, but - Prince Rasler? He'd been dead for more than two years, Montblanc was pretty darn sure of that. There'd been a funeral and everything.

Well, he'd have to worry about that later. For now, his priority was figuring out what to do next, and heading out to find a place to stay for now seemed like a good first step.

Ahnassi grinned and walked over a little closer, nodding vigorously, "Oh yes. Ahnassi and Juro are living in the Villas Salonas near here. It is a nice place, and not far from the grocery."

She was a little curious what "kupo" meant, wondering if it was a polite term of respect, like how the people of Morrowind called people "sera" when they were being polite. It kind of sounded like that, the way he had used it the first time. She decided not to ask about it... not yet, anyway. The Khajiit was much more interested in what he was and where he came from. "You are new to the city, yes?" she inquired politely. "Ahnassi has not seen anyone of your kind before, but it is not surprising. Here there are many people from many places."
