Anyone There? ~ [ Closed/Complete ]
Character(s): Larxene, anyone who wants to join in.
Content: Larxene has to find a way to get to a hotel after Superior Smackdown. xD
Setting: On the way to the Morem o Lisboa; starting at Ecos na Catedral.
Time: Tuesday evening.
Warnings: Language? ~
Her calf stung like mad, her breastbone was saying things like "OMGDIEBITCH" to her, and she wasn't really in the mood to have a bitch-fight with her conscience. Although she would kill to teleport all the way to the hotel and get a nice soak in her tubwith a nice S&M book to get all of the blood off, she would have to walk. That's all she had the strength for.
She grudgingly got up, hearing some bone snap somewhere within her as she did, before she ws fully up, dusting her robe off with what strength she could muster before she started walking to her intended destination. Vexen was at the library doing God-knows-what now, Zexion was... who cares, Axel, Saix, and Demyx she hadn't seen in forever and a half, and Marluxia had been whisked away. Her life was just effin' peachy keen, fine, and dandy.
"Ohh," she groaned when she felt her head begin to throb, clutching a lock of her hair where the pain was sourced. It would go away soon. She checked her glove, seeing blood on the black leather. Her hair was probably matted from the blood all over the back of her head. Perhaps those stupid fancy shampoos they had there were really needed now.
Lightning cracked in the sky, and she felt a drop of rain his her on the nose. Great. She would arrive at the hotel looking like a drowned rat. Perhaps she should go to that hotel that's nearby-- the Morem o Lisboa? Better than walking all the way to Actua Are.
The rest of the walk to the hotel wouldn't be very fun. ~

It has been a whole day, though, so she must have missed them or perhaps this Zexion has played a prank on her. Which is not funny. Shoving her journal angrily into her pocket, she decides that she would rather be walking back to Morem o Lisboa to rest for the night and journey to Mr. Nobunaga the next morning. Muttering curses at this man named Zexion, she walks to the direction of the hotel.
A huge lightning cracks the sky in half and she sees a figure walking bowed in front of her. Recovering from her shock quickly, she realizes that the figure is a woman with what must be blonde hair under the browned blood on her head. Recalling Zexion's message, she realizes that the woman must be one of the people she was called to heal.
"Wait! you shouldn't be walking around with a wound like that!" Immediately she runs toward the woman, making sure not to trip on any of the stones. Luck was not on her side, however, and as her foot makes contact with a rubble, it gave way beneath her and she falls into a graceless heap before the wounded woman. "Ouch, my dignity..." she mutters under her breath.
~
Wait! You shouldn't be walking around with a wound like that!"
Maybe she was being delusional. A quick wince before she turned around, wiping the rain off of her eyes. Footsteps confirmed that she was not having mental problems, but it was rather a person. A woman.
"...And who might you be?" she asked monotonously, not bothering to move. It hurt too much.
Apparantly the woman wasn't too smooth on her feet, for she was now laying on her butt right in front of her with a mutter. Larxene couldn't outstretch her hand due to the broken bone she had piercing her right bicep, and she explained herself slowly.
"I'm sorry, but you'll have to help yourself up. I'm in... a pretty horrible condition," she continued on, her expressionless face not changing. Her bones were broken. She was stuck halfway to her destination point, the hotel was screaming "Larxene, come to me!~~", and she desperately needed to go purchase some potions and a take a warm bath. "How on earth did you land all the way here, anyway?" she questioned the woman before they were introduced to one another.
That hotel should shut the hell up.

"...And who might you be?" the woman asks her. Ashe quickly looks up at the expressionless woman. "I'm sorry, but you'll have to help yourself up. I'm in... a pretty horrible condition." Ashe realizes that she should be the one helping the woman not the other way around, and getting back on her foot as quick as possible, she searches her pocket for healing items.
"I am Ashe," she introduces herself while still scrambling in her pocket. "Zexion, your friend I believe, has summoned me to help you. I am not much of a healer, but I can get you in better shape than this, at the very least."
~
"...I'm Larxene," she began, "the twelfth Order."
Larxene's words finished and she waited as the woman introduced herself.
I'm Ashe she had said, and that Zexion, her friend, she believed had sent--
Wait. What. The. Fuck?
Larxene cut her own thoughts off as soon as the words "Zexion", "friend", and "sent her" were calculated. "Zexion sent you here? He actually sent help? I thought he just ran off. I guess the bastard's not as cold and uncaring as I had originally thought," she said, trying her best to hide the surprise that was begging to show itself on her face.

Realizing that talking will not heal Larxene, she immediately went back to looking for a particular potion Basch gave her. "Would you not rather sit down or does it hurt too much to move?"
~
"Yes, twelfth Order. He posted a message on the board asking you to help us all? To tell you the truth..." her voice trailed off as she attempted to make the pain in her jaw stop before the continued, "...Vexen and Marluxia are, well, gone. Vexen left early this morning, as did Marluxia. Marluxia was taken away, actually..." Another pause before she began. "...Back to the matter at hand," she finished off, clenching her teeth together tightly for a second to distract herself from the pain as she sat down.
"I'm alright with sitting down," she confirmed.
~ XII

Back to the matter at hand, I'm alright with sitting down. Larxene says as she sits herself down. Ashe sits down beside her and puts the potion in Larxene's hand. "Here, drink it all up. It will completely restore your power. It is rather bitter but it will make relieve you of some of the pain."
The rain was getting considerably harder compared to a few minutes ago, and both of them were looking rather drenched. "Once you feel better, I'll help you walk and we should try to find a shelter. I doubt that sitting in the rain would do you any good."
~
"...I suppose that the disgusting taste will be worth the relief. Bottoms up," she muttered before she shot the entire contents of the bottle down. She spoke up after a few moments. "God, that was disgusting." No thank you was given, because she was just a bitch like that.
Problem, anyone? Didn't think so.Larxene put a hand up to her head when she felt the pain that had previously been there disintegrate into nothingness. It was a very liberating feeling. Although she wasn't completely better, she was well enough to get them out of the rain and into the Morem o Lisboa hotel.
"Grab my hand. I can... teleport us to our desired destination: The Morem o Lisboa hotel nearby," she stated flatly, extending her hand.
Bath. Bath. Bath...

Speaking of teleportation...
Vexen had no idea why he wanted to go back to where Larxene and Marluxia presumbaly were. Perhaps it was merely because they were all in the Organization, and this common bind was enough to move Vexen to return with some (extremely ineffective potions), along with the rest of his things. He actually planned on dumping them at their feet and leaving.
As he materialized not too far away, he noticed that Larxene was already being attended to by another woman (a far more kind soul than that mage was, he supposed). Well, that worked... however, someone seemed to be missing.
He supposed Marluxia had also fled for the time being. Good for him. Limping over to them (damn that mage; walking hurt), Vexen cleared his throat. This time to catch their attention; he was done with hacking up globs of blood.
"Forgive me for my intrusion, but I suppose you don't know where the others went off to?" This question was directed at Larxene more than anyone else.

"Your intrusion is forgiven. I honestly haven't a clue as to where Marluxia is. He was just... taken away. Zexion just disappeared and went off somewhere, but it seems that he was considerate enough to send for help. We're headed for the Morem o Lisboa hotel. I suppose you'd like to accompany us now that nobody has remained behind?" she stated to the Nobody, looking in straight in the eye. She put a tendril of hair behind her ear.
Stupid hair was making her even more wet.

Ashe smiled at the woman as she gulped the potion down quickly. It is rather bothersome to see that 500 gils worth of potion being treated like that, but she is sure Larxene will be very thankful at its immediate effect. However, sometimes things just don't go according to your expectation.
God, that was disgusting, Ashe felt the blood rise to her face, the worst curse words rushing in her throat and her mouth opening in a fit of spitting them out. It was even more frustrating to see that Larxene did not notice how angry that made Ashe feel.
The other woman extended her hand, Grab my hand. I can... teleport us to our desired destination: The Morem o Lisboa hotel nearby.
Briefly, Ashe's mind flew to the blue-haired man she saw teleporting a few days ago, could they be the same people? And she is still not clear about the 'Twelfth Order' thing anyway. Before she could utter a single word, however, a voice interrupts her.
Forgive me for my intrusion, but I suppose you don't know where the others went off to? Turning around, a man with long blonde hair is limping toward them. Perhaps he is the other man she was supposed to tend to. She was going to offer her help, but realizing that the man has his eyes on Larxene only and ignoring her, she chose to stay quiet. This man does not seem like the kind of person she would want to annoy.
Larxene explained to him where the others went to, and if it weren't for the fact that she used the word us to refer to them, Ashe would have thought that the both of them had forgotten about her. Also, if it weren't for the fact that they seem dangerous, she would have unleashed her inner brat by now.
Choosing her words carefully, she tries to make it sound as polite as possible. "Suppose it would be better to continue our conversation in a drier place? I am not exactly fond of the rain."
~
"Perhaps she's right, Vexen. We should go to the hotel now," she suggested, turning her head back to him when she was finished. "It's much drier there, and we cal all get a bite to eat and get ourselves cleaned up. Those fancy hotels seem to make life for those lazy-asses there as easy as it gets. We'll be fine there."

It's much drier there, and we can all get a bite to eat and get ourselves cleaned up. Those fancy hotels seem to make life for those lazy-asses there as easy as it gets. We'll be fine there. Larxene said to Vexen. What is with ignoring her after being helped? What about a simple thank you?
Giving up on any form of gratitude, Ashe sighs, "So, do we walk or do we teleport?"
~
"We're teleporting there. Unless you'd prefer to walk in the rain, that is. Put onr hand on mine," she replied, extending her right hand towards her. She loked at Vexen before she said anything. "...Let's go," she commanded, closing her eyes and concentrating on her intended destination before she and Ashe were gone from the spot. They would see Vexen there in a moment.
~
The hotel was seemingly fancier than the one back in Actua Are, but it was a bit smaller. People were still bustling around, talking endless like there was no tomorrow. Nobody seemed to notice that they just appeared out of nowhere. Like puppets, is what these people are.
"...I'm going to go get a room," she told Ashe, walking in the direction of the concierge desk. She gave the very perky man at the desk her information and the payment before she got the keys to her room. He gave her an odd look when she turned around to leave. Probably all of the blood stuck to her body.
Bath...

...I'm going to go get a room, Larxene tells her while walking over to the concierge desk. Ashe wonders if Larxene will be paying for her hotel room or not. If she paid, then it would be more than Ashe needs as a substitute for gratitude. This hotel seems to be very expensive after all. After awhile, Larxene walks back to where she was standing carrying one key.
She hopes she had gotten her a room also because she does not think she has enough money to pay for a room in this hotel. And the rain outside does not seem to allow anyone to walk through it without getting a fever.

Vexen dully noted the direction of the hotel Larxene pointed out and nodded faintly, deciding it was a place as good as any to finish up the reports and data he had to post. Ugh. Only someone like Vexen could think of such things after having the (for lack of better wording) shit beaten out of him by his boss, but he had to keep his priorities straight.
Following the two women to the hotel, Vexen materialized right at the door, not wanting to spend any more of his rapidly draining strength then he had to. Limping over to where the confused healer was, Vexen just watched Larxene get a room (for herself, presumably, unless she wanted to share with the healer).
"Do forgive her, she's always like this," Vexen noted to the healer, who's name he still didn't know. He would ask, if Larxene hadn't come back with the single key.
"I didn't get your name..." He continued. He might as well get his benefactor's name this time, she seemed much more agreeable than that mage.
To ALL. ~
"That stupid concierge was asking me the most irrelevant questions I have ever heard in my life. 'What is your mother's maiden name?' 'What is your pet's name?' I just wanted to kill that imbecile. He was getting on my nerves so much," she complained, eyeing them both. She held up her hand, three golden-colored keys dangling from one finger. "I only had enough money to get one room, but the concierge gave me three keys for all of us. Vexen, you can come with us if you'd like, since I have the third key. You, as well, Ashe. We're lodging on the top floor, sadly. If we're forced to walk, it will be a rather harsh trip. I wouldn't have even bothered to come here if I wasn't in desperate need of a bath."
Hopefully it wouldn't be a pain in the ass having them both lodge with her for a day or two.

She does not have the money to get another room, however, nor does she have the courage to actually annoy Larxene, so as long as she would have her own bed to sleep in, it would be fine. "We won't have to share beds, do we?"
~
Ashe's face had triggered her to say that, really.
She handed them both one key before explaining things further. "The fucking concierge said that these were as many keys as he could give us. Vexen, since you don't seem to be taking an interest in spending the night, you can give that idiot your key back or he'll begin to bitch at us about taking good care of it. Shall we go up, now? I'm going insane."
Oh, yes. She was.

"I'm not going to be very long. I just need to get a few things taken care of," Vexen assured her with a monotone voice. Like my leg. "I don't intend to actually stay here for the night."

I'm not going to be very long. I just need to get a few things taken care of, I don't intend to actually stay here for the night. the man said, and Ashe breathed out a sigh of relief. Even spending the night in one room with a man could mark a stain on her name. She is married after all.
Replying to Larxene, "Yes, I suppose we can get up now."
~
People were chit-chatting so much her head was starting to throb. "What do you two plan on doing tomorrow?" she questioned, laughing as she saw a woman trip over the carpet a few feet away. Oh how she loved it when people were in pain sometimes. It was exhilerating. The elevator door opened in front of them, and the trio stepped inside of the large room-sized glass elevator. Apparantly here, it was style, and not substance. This thing went as slow as molasses.
Book and a bath. She couldn't wait.

"Work," was all Vexen replied it. Although, after the beating he just took, Vexen was starting to feel strangely apathetic towards the one thing he used to 'enjoy' the worst. Like the Superior broke more than just his bones.
How odd. There was nothing but bones to break.
He slumped against the side of the elevator, also disgusted with the design. It was slow, and it was inefficient. If he weren't injured, he would have taken the stairs.
~
"...welcome to your lodgins for the night... and perhaps a bit of tomorrow," she monotonously said before she headed for the shower, unzipping her robe as she walked. "You two do whatever you like. There's a mini-bar thing over there if you'd like to have a snack or a... drink," she said with the flick of her wrist. She finally found the bathroom after nearly walking into the closet once, and she shut the door behind her before the running water was heard.
Finally. She can take a fucking bath now.

"Sir Vexen," she starts. "If I read between the lines clearly, you want me to heal you as well?" The man seemed proper enough and she thinks that he would be more grateful than Larxene was, anyway. Her stomach growled softly, and wishing that the man had not heard it, she makes a mental note to herself to get some food after healing the man.
no subject
"You may just call me 'Vexen'," He informed her, nodding when she mentioned a healing. "Actually, yes, I was healed earlier by a mage but she saw no need to heal my leg."
Vexen limped over to the bed next to hers, dumping his items on it. There wasn't much; The bag made a clinking noise, suggesting there were some fragile things inside. He made a notion to drop his journal down with them, but shook his head; such things shouldn't be left alone. Larxene at the very least would take interest in it.
"I suppose you were summoned by Zexion?" He asked, sitting down on the bed opposite from Ashe's.
~
"...When you two are finished doing whatever it is you're doing, we're all going out to get some food. I think we've been deprived for a while, and I would kill someone for a drink."
...A nice alcoholic drink, that is.
She pushed her hair out of her face and brushed it back, plopping down on her bed after folding her towels and placing them in the closet. Maybe they'd run into Luxord when the got down into the lobby; he did say he was hanging around an Actua Are hotel, gambling like madman. Nothing out of the ordinary there.
Stupid lives they all had.

"Anyway, small talk will not heal your leg, S-- err Vexen." Ashe stands up from her bed and walks to where he is sitting. "Let me take a look at it."
...When you two are finished doing whatever it is you're doing, we're all going out to get some food. I think we've been deprived for a while, and I would kill someone for a drink. Larxene suddenly interrupts. Amazing how quick she took her bath; Ashe always takes at least an hour for a bath. "We will be done soon, just a moment." she says to Larxene as she concentrates her magic to her hands. "Curaga" and the internal bleeding fades into almost nothing, leaving a rather yellow mark on Vexen's skin. "It will disappear by itself, don't worry."
Standing up and she turns to Larxene, "We are done. I am very anxious about the prospect of getting food. I feel famished."
~
"Alright, we're going back down to the main casino. The bars and restaurants usually reside there," she said, tossing the book behind her. "I think that son of a bitch Luxord is down there, as well, but that's not important. I brought enough money to last me a lifetime on this trip of mine. We can go have as much food as we desire, wherever we like." A brief pause. "Let's go then, shall we?"
She walked out the door, waiting for the both of them to follow before locking the door and heading for the slow-as-hell elevator. The ride took a good fifteen minutes to get them down to the casino level. Chatter among the gamblers and diners was quite loud, and she cringed briefly before looking around. "...where are we going to eat?" she inquired, scanning the long line of restaurants and were on the periphery of the entire casino, which ranged from dessert shops to restaurants. Making a decision would be hard. Her eyes quickly flashed to the casino's main bar before she turned around and looked at Vexen and Ashe. "Decide quickly."
Oh, God, the noise.
~ XII
no subject
"Why don't we go to the main bar?" Ashe suggests. She hopes the bar also serves some kind of food however, she does not really want to get too drunk.
no subject
The healer had done a wonderful job, however. It didn't hurt to walk, not even the slightest pain. Vexen couldn't believe how much he missed being able to walk. Something so simple. Then again, people never appreciated what they had until they lost it.
And continue to do so, it seemed.
"You two can go eat somewhere. I already ate," Vexen dismissed Larxene's invitation, lying as usual. She probably didn't care, but Vexen did, so without so much as a word, he stalked back to the hotel room, wondering why he just didn't stay if Larxene already locked it.
Oh yes. He left his things there.
Unlocking the door swiftly, Vexen disappeared inside and the door shut with a click.
~
"...Fucking liar," she bit out, looking over at Ashe to see what she had said.
Why don't we go to the main bar? she suggests. Ah. Good idea.
"..That's alight with me," Larxene quickly answers back, ushering her to the other side of the casino where the bar lay, in-between the lobby and the casino. She took a seat at the nearest table rather than at the bar. Ashe followed in suit.
"MAY I TAKE YOUR ORDERS?" a rather enthusiastic waiter called out from behind her, almost making her zap the area behind her out of habit. The daggers crawled back into her flesh when she realized it was the waiter, putting her hands on the menu to look it over.
The waiter looked like he'd just seen a ghost.
"...I'll skip the main course. I'm giong straight to dessert," she told the waiter, handing him the menu. "I'll take the vanilla bean cheesecake with the caramel créme. ...and a Lethal Lemonade, please, with Absolut Citron vodka, not the orange Absolut." She looked over at Ashe after finishing with the waiter. Poor Vexen was missing all of the fun.
All work and no play makes Vexen a very dull man.

"I...I'll just have the house special, whatever it is," Ashe has not realized how lucky she is that people speak in the same language as she does in Paixao. The food, however, is a whole different case. She is not able to find any food with Chocobo in it. She hopes that the house special is not something slimy or crawly.
"And I'll have something with chocolate for the dessert," she gives the menu back to the waiter. "And mineral water, thank you."
no subject
"We should get going," she stated a little while after Ashe had finished her food. "We should get out of this damn place tomorrow morning and go find the others to see what the hell they're up to. The curiosity is killing me."
Oh, boy was it.
The trip back to the hotel room wasn't as horrible as she had expected. The elevator took a record ten minutes to get them up to the suite, and apparently Vexen was either sleeping in his bed or off somewhere doing God-knows-what. Who really cares? Tomorrow they'd all be forced to go off and out of this stupid place in search of the others.
II OOC: Ashe-mun, we should wrap this thread up and grab Vexen-mun to go over somewhere ELSE other than the hotel. x__x; We've been on this thread for a while. So make your last post, alright? <3 much. 8D II
Oh, the fun she was having. Not.
~ XII.

"I think we should do just that," Ashe replies, then wiping her mouth clean' properly, like she should. She follows Larxene back to their room, the wait for the elevator much more bearable now that she is not so hungry.
Once they were inside their room, Ashe realizes that tomorrow they will go their separate ways and it would be polite to at least tell Larxene of where she is planning to go. "Larxene, thank you for the room," she starts. "I guess we will be parting tomorrow. If you ever feel a need for my help, you can contact me through the message board as Zexion did, or you can find me at a shop owned by this man named Cid. The shop is near the center of town, across from Actua Are."
She walks to her bed, and discarding all sense of proper manners and grace, plops herself down onto it. "So then, good night and farewell!"
Tomorrow will be the start of an adventure for her, and she is sure that it will be interesting. She cannot wait to meet this Cid, or Roxas. She hopes that they are kinder than Kadaj. Strange as it may seem, she also wishes that she would meet Larxene and Vexen also at some other time. But that must wait, for this time, she travels alone.
[ooc: yep, it's truly been awhile. that is my last post then! :)]
