Foundation Day Festival: Food Tent
Character(s): everyone in the food tent
Content: food, and lots of it.
Setting: Joco da Crianca Fairgrounds, food tent
Time: all day~
Warnings: Multithreaded posting format (please include time of day and sub-location in your comment's subject line)
The food tent is the second biggest structure at the fair, next to the Ferris wheel. It's a large white tent set up near the far end of the grounds. Inside, the majority of the tent is filled with long tables (with white plastic tablecloths) and benches for seating.
The food, along one side of the tent, is set up buffet-style. They have a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, and it's all good stuff, having been catered by Café Ersesat. It's always well-stocked, too, somehow; if they run out of anything, it's replenished within a few minutes. There is also a small bar, where alcoholic drinks and cocktails are available upon request to anyone who looks old enough.

Re: Around 10:25
"Konoha," he said while taking a bite of the bun. After all Konoha was home. It was where both of them were born. One way or another you had to have strong ties with the village, whether positive or negative.
Re: Around 10:25
"Konoha?" Itachi repeated questioningly, considering the word that Naruto had given him. Images of leaves came to mind first, and then a school and a monument... They were all things that should have been familiar to Itachi, but he had to wonder what their connection was. The images continued to flow--houses, a tower, a ramen stand, two large, imposing gates...
"It's a village?"
Re: Around 10:25
"Uchiha?" Surely that was a name that should ring a few bells, right? There used to be an entire clan of Uchiha's.
Re: Around 10:25
"Uchiha?" Itachi considered the new word. "That's Sasuke's family name, right?" ...which would make that his family name, if Naruto was right about his name and his relationship to Sasuke. The first thing to come to mind was a fan, done in red and white, and then red eyes decorated with black tomoe. And then, the memory seemed to, well, zoom out, and Itachi could recall the stern man those eyes belonged to.
"...Red eyes..."
Re: Around 10:25
Naruto nodded again, this time not showing any visible reaction to Sasuke's name. He simply waited for what Itachi would remember and once he did, he almost clapped his hands together in delight. Perhaps he would have if his arms weren't stuffed with food.
"You really ARE remembering! The red eyes are the Sharingan. It's the bloodline limit from your clan. Do you remember anything about the Sharingan? You can do it too."
Re: Around 10:25
"The Sharingan..." The word was familiar, and Itachi pictured those red eyes again. In his memory, the eyes mutated, the tomoe shifting and changing shape. There was a single instant where everything took on a reddish hue before the flood gates opened and Itachi dropped the food he was holding. His whole world reeled as memory after memory flicked through his mind.
What Itachi needed right now, more than anything, was to sit down. The floor was as good a place as any.
Re: Around 10:25
"Itachi, are you alright?" he said, carefully placing a hand on the other's shoulder. Perhaps the game hadn't been such a good idea after all or...?
Re: Around 10:25
"Naruto-san, can we leave?" Right now, he was pretty sure that he needed to lay down. That was not something that he could do in the tent. It just wouldn't be appropriate. Not for a shinobi of his status.
