Death understood the appeal of large events - after all, humans were innately social creatures. This benefitted him as well, as it was a further chance not only to observe them, but in the case of this city, interact and gather information. Sephiroth had been quite helpful, and he was hoping to impart his new information to this Timon. He'd hoped the meerkat would be here.

But for now, he simply waited his turn in line. This was part of the experience, after all, and walking through the wall felt somehow like cheating. He looked to the young man in front of him - ah, a name and a lifespan, indications of a living person in this city of insanity. EXCUSE ME, CHRISTOPHER, he intoned, tapping the boy lightly on the shoulder, BUT DO YOU KNOW WHEN THIS FESTIVAL IS SUPPOSED TO START? I FEAR I MIGHT BE LATE.
