Kairi had been taking her time to get there, and she found herself at the end of the line. It didn't bother her. She didn't mind the wait. There was a strange comfort in seeing all the people, even if it was a differnt line that brought them into the city. She wondered how many people in this one had grown to accept it, how many people were still desperately trying to get out (but then, they wouldn't be here now, would they?), how many had changed, how many stopped missing their homes and began to accept Paixao as their new home.
She kept her eyes from grazing the ground, kept from sinking into herself.
Herself. What about herself? Could she be one of those people to accept this place? Thus far everything had been crazy... She had barely entered the city before being attacked by Nobodies. And then there was her friends, and she didn't care about being trapped, but now... heh, now both are gone again. Things have slowed down.
She wasn't sure what to think about Paixao anymore.
Why did it seem... she was always, always waiting?
