Good Morning, Paixao! [Active]
Character(s): Ahnassi and Juro
Content: The two head out from their room to find breakfast and new adventures
Setting: Actua Are [F3]
Time: Morning
Warnings: None so far.
Ahnassi slowly stirred to consciousness, reluctant to get out of bed too quickly. It took her a moment to remember where she was, and when she did, she glanced around drowsily, noting that she was alone in the room. That was odd... She was sure Juro had still been there when she fell asleep. Obviously he had gone off somewhere. She just hoped he hadn't left for good. Despite his gruff attitude, he was the only person she really knew in this place, and she didn't want to lose track of him.
The Khajiit sighed and pushed herself up to a sitting position, rubbing at her eyes with one hand. After a moment, she slid out of bed, retrieving one of the candies she'd set aside the previous night. First things first, she needed to find Juro and get herself some breakfast. Although in theory these two events could happen in no particular order, she actually hoped she could find Juro first, in case he hadn't eaten yet. It was entirely possible he was already out getting breakfast, but she thought she should find out before she went looking for something to eat. With any luck, he hadn't gone too far.

The door to the room opened slowly, and Juro came in quietly, thinking that Ahnassi was still asleep. Half-tired as he was, it took him a moment to realize that, contrary to his belief, the Khajiit was already wide awake.
"Oh...you're up already," he mumbled.

She looked him over for a moment, with the strangest feeling that she had seen him before somewhere. Maybe he'd been hanging around the front desk the previous night or something. Wherever he was from, though, his presence was unexpected and possibly dangerous. Although Ahnassi still appeared as relaxed as usual, any remaining grogginess from waking up had vanished as she waited to see who this person was and what he wanted with her. After a moment of silence without any information forthcoming, her curiosity finally got the best of her. "And... you are?"

His human form suddenly disappeared, leaving the form of the weasel monster that Ahnassi would more easily recognize. He stared at the Khajiit, blinking a few times to clear his vision. "It was about time to drop that stupid guise anyways."

His stomach clenched at the mention of food, and his hand slowly went to rest on his belly. "Depends on what's available," he said. "Some kind of meat sounds good right now, actually."

The Khajiit grinned and headed for the door, patting Juro's shoulder as she passed him by. "Meat sounds tasty to Ahnassi too," she told him. "Perhaps some bacon or sausage can be found around here somewhere." She wasn't sure what the hotel had for food, but if there wasn't anything they liked, the two of them could always look elsewhere. Ahnassi was good at... obtaining such things, after all.
