Kyuubi VS Yoda
Content: Read the title
Setting: Paixao Central Station
Time: Midnight
Warnings: Violence, destruction of property, possible cursing
Yoda had allowed Garnet to have the bed after arriving at the Actua Are and ‘purchasing’ a room with golden leaves he’d collected earlier. He’d only bought a one bedroom room, telling Garnet that he’d just sleep on one of the extraordinarily comfortable chairs they’d found inside. Not that he planned on sleeping much. As soon as Garnet had gone to bed and he’d felt her fall asleep through the Force he began to meditate, floating half a meter of the chair he’d told Garnet he’d sleep on. He lost himself in the chaos created by this place, an organized mess that never quite fit together, but was obviously meant to.
Something in the Force then pulled at him. There was somewhere he was meant to be, and here was not it. He opened his eyes and lowered himself to the floor, picking up his gimer stick he silently made his way to the door. He used the Force to open it so as not to disturb Garnet and made his way out of the Actua Are, still in half a trance. He followed the pull for an unknown amount of time, not bothering to conceal himself as the streets were deserted, and his own mind racing ahead of the present.
Finally he arrived. Looking around he recognized the place from the map on his journal as Paixao Central Station. The train tracks and ticket booths were devoid of life, empty, as though this had all been prepared. Two trains were empty and waiting on the tracks, and another zoomed by, loud as can be, empty for all but the driver. The Grand Master of the Jedi Order approached the empty tracks, a bit of smoke eddying around where the train had just passed. Still looking towards the tracks, he closed his eyes and reached out with the Force. Something powerful, steeped in the power of the Darkside was approaching. It felt familiar, this power. He had felt a fraction of it upon meeting the boy Naruto, but now it felt as if it had been unleashed. Bestial and wild. Taking a deep breath he waited, focusing almost exclusively on that Darkness.
It’s arrival was heralded by a nearby clock as it began to chime. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve. It was midnight, and the Darkness was there.

Kyuubi was still pissed about that. He had spent much of his day exploring the city, terrorizing the strange, consistently blonde people that he found. Their hair... it was almost like the shinigami was mocking him... he had lost count of how many he had bitten before some had chased him off with brooms. BROOMS! Imagine, the great Kyuubi being chased off by a broom!
Night had fallen and Kyuubi had found many of the streets empty as he stalked the city's center. The fox demon was stalking near Central Station. It amused him, how dead it could be in such busy places like cities, especially after the sun set. Even more amusing, to think that the pathetic humans were afraid of the dark. Well, most of them, anyway. There seemed to be one up ahead, foolishly waiting for something. And, well, who was Kyuubi to decline an approach?

He faced the creature without fear, only a cold determination. This thing was Dark, evil. It would only cause harm to others, it was meant to be destroyed. It was simply the way things were. Light and Darkness could never coexist peacefully. The two had always fought, and always would. Those who tried to walk the line between them always fell to the Darkness. Count Dooku and many other Sith were examples of such. Others would fight the pull of the Darkness in their hearts their whole lives, such as Quinlan Vos.
Thinking of his students brought a sense of peace to the old Jedi Master as only one who has taught countless generations and witnessed their continued growth could. They were mostly gone now, dead. Killed by order sixty six, but he knew that he would likely have outlived them anyways and he did not mourn them, for now they were one with the Force. As he soon could be as well should this encounter prove more than he could handle. The thought did not worry him, his ally was the Force and a powerful ally it was.
Taking a deep breath he addressed the creature before him as it continued moving towards him. “A waste of time would it be if your’ name I asked?”

Garnet didn't even bother to gather her hair, so it hung loosely on her shoulders and she didn't care as she normally would have. She searched around for her cloak and threw it on without a second thought. She opened the door to the room, and went down the stairs.
Where could Yoda have gone? Why would he have left? She was worried as she wandered the darkened streets, their lamp posts being the only light she had to go by. She could hear something, she thought, in the distance. It sounded like growling. Could the sound have been why Yoda left? She hesitated.
What should she do? Oh, perhaps this had been a bad idea... But she wouldn't turn back now. Not until she found Yoda.

Surely, this was some joke that the shinigami had decided to play on him. Everyone knew who Kyuubi was, knew that the nine-tailed fox brought death and destruction in his sadistic wake. To be asked that question, it was... annoying, and was almost like a blow to his pride. He would have to rectify this situation.
"You don't know me?" The fox laughed at the very thought. "I am the greatest of the nine bijuu, the strongest of the demons. I am the great Kyuubi no Kitsune!"

And then the mess got a whole lot bigger. Garnet! Yoda could feel her presence in the Force and she was coming closer. When had she woken up!? Despite the situation, or perhaps because of it, not a trace of worry crossed the old Masters’ face. He needed to keep Kyuubi focused on him, and kill the bijuu before it turned it’s malevolence upon the innocently approaching Garnet.
Sighing once more Yoda replied “Never heard of you I have, and never of me hear you, I am suspecting. But since grand introductions we are making, Yoda my name is, Grand Master of the Jedi Order.” He gave a sigh and glanced at his beloved gimer stick before tossing it lightly to the side. It would be safer there. The diminutive Jedi then looked at Kyuubi, matching the demons gaze, staring into the creatures’ eyes.
“Desire for a conversation neither of us have and attack me you inevitably will, so begin shall we?”

She could feel them, her memories. Just beyond her grasp, and it was imperative then that she find Yoda and accomplish whatever it was that she had meant to do immediately. It was something that had constantly been on her mind, had been a worry on the edges of her expressions for awhile.
While forgetting had been a comforting break, she needed to remember. That was much more important, and she was almost there, they were within grasp, she was sure of it. She blinked, the conversation interrupting her moment of desperate searching. Yoda!
But... he was a grand master? What was a Jedi? She turned in the direction the conversation was coming from.
((ooc: hey guys, i was wondering if at some point would ya'll mind Garnet summoning like... Ifrit or something? I'll ask again before I do it, but was wondering...!))

Kyuubi advanced on Yoda, slowly, his growls growing progressively louder as he neared.
"You are a fool, human, if you think to take me on." The words were spoken with the faintest hint of amusement.

A fool Yoda had been called before, but being mistaken for a human... ...it brought about a quick burst of laughs, though they died down fairly quick as the creature continued to approach. "A fool I have been called before, but for a human mistaken I have not." He paused a moment, allowing Kyuubi to draw ever nearer.
He took a moment briefly close his eyes, concentrating on Garnet. She was close, to close. He needed this to get moving before she became anymore involved, he couldn't wait for Kyuubi to throw the first blow. "Very well, get started we shall."
With that, Yoda’s eyes shot open filled with youthful energy as he allowed the Force to flow through him, energizing and invigorating every cell of his being. Like a rocket he was off, charging straight for the demon with a speed unthinkable for the average mind. He raced forwards, waiting until he was within a mere meter of the creature before activating his emerald hued lightsaber and soaring into the air tumbling un a myriad of unpredictable flips and spins over Kyuubi’s head, a veritable whirlwind of burning slashes as his blade scorched a continuous after image. He let rain a flurry of blows before coming to land three meters behind the canine creature, spinning on the ground into the opening stance of Ataru, knees bent blade held vertical, slightly off center from his body. He prepared for Kyuubis’ counter attack.
(ooc: Paiger, sorry the actual strikes weren’t given in better detail, the style Yoda uses, Ataru, allows for somewhere around 46656000 different cuts. Without having another weapon to account for I felt it would be easier to just do this, hope this works for you, let me know if it doesn’t and I’ll change things up.)

She pressed herself against the wall, and slowly inched herself towards the battle. Just as she got close, she felt a pang, sharp and swift, and she grabbed her head, falling to her knees. "Ahn!" she said softly, her eyes watering with the pain.
There was something she was missing. Where was he? The boy that she was going to ask to kidnap her. Wait, kidnap her? Yes, the actor. What actor? In Alexandria! She felt her mind racing as she tried to comprehend how she could possibly remember these places.
And then there was no pain, just the humming sound of something she didn't understand. She dared to look past the wall, her head barely sticking out. Oh, there was Yoda! But, the creature, she hadn't seen before. She held her breath. What was about to happen?

The fox demon turned on Yoda, growling and baring his fangs. He was unamused by the thought of being attacked and deigned to show this idiot exactly why he had been sealed in the first place.
Fangs bared and claws out, Kyuubi leapt at Yoda. He had it planned out. First he would tear out the green man's annoying throat. Then, he's skin him... And then he'd rip him to shreds. This was provided, of course, that he managed to land the first blow. Otherwise, plan B would be a good idea. He might be able to knock one of these buildings down on top of him.

His intention here of course, was to distract Kyuubi from the presence of Garnet, whom through the Force, Yoda had felt come to some form of realization. He took this to men that she had both found him and regained her memories. He wondered how that had happened but didn't question it for the moment, glad in spite of his current situation for his young friend.
His thoughts quickly turned back to his opponent, no way was something that powerful and angry going to be so easily deterred. He calmly turned of his lightsaber and reattached it to his belt. It was doing him little good against his opponent and it would be easier to allow the Force to flow through him with his hands free.

Her head hurt with her worry and she closed her eyes. Something, something was calling to her. 'Let me help you,' the voice said. Garnet could feel the equivalent of a hand reaching out to her, waiting for her to make the connection. She hesitated.
Was this asking for outside help? No, this seemed more innate. It seemed to be her own power, and she couldn't feel guilty for calling on it. The hand waited, and time seemed to stop. She reached for it. 'Help me,' she agreed to what felt like herself. Perhaps this was all she needed to call back her memories.
There was white, even from behind closed eyes. But her eyes were open, and that whiteness faded, in its place stood Ifrit. Her summon, her strength. She frowned at Kyuubi, and Ifrit gathered all the heat from the area. Words didn't need to express that Princess Garnet Til Alexandros was back.

As the temperature rose, Kyuubi was glad for his affinity to fire, even if he couldn't use the element. Damnable sealing. The fox shrugged off the temperature change in favor of dealing with Yoda. The man was growing annoying, and Kyuubi was growing tired of the game. If he wanted to play at throwing things, the fox would be more than happy to oblige. After all, his tails had been good for taking down mountains before the Shinigami had gotten him.
"If you want to play this game, we'll play," Kyuubi growled. "And you will not like the result." The fox demon ran at Yoda again, purposely moving past him to swing with his tails and knock Yoda down. He spun, then, to face Yoda, tails lashing behind him as he bared fangs in a vicious smirk. There was another here, he knew, and he wondered how much of a distraction she would provide for this green not-human, should he threaten her.

He quickly examined this fiery new presence in the Force. It was tied to Garnet somehow, almost as though she had used the Force to create it from nothing, changing the atoms and molecules around her into a living powerhouse. The beings presence in the Force felt HOT, too hot for him to examine at the moment, too distracting. He MUST ask Garnet later about that though.
Fine, the bijuu claimed it wanted to play, he’d show him this wasn’t just some game. He grunted with exertion as he lifted his arms to the domed roof, the once still train following his movements, he clasped his hands together as if crumpling a paper ball. The train cars crushed themselves together, sparks flying as the metal groaned and pushed itself into a giant ball. Yoda paused a moment longer to feel Kyuubi’s presence, to judge where he would be, the with an enormous heave, he hurled the train at him.

And so, Kyuubi moved, red eyes focused on the young woman he knew to be there. He lunged for Garnet, a vicious smile playing across his muzzle. Oh yes, he was sure that if he were to harm her, Yoda would react as he wanted. And these humans were so foolish when they acted on emotions.
The demon stopped his advance on Garnet upon the sound of the groaning metal, and turned to look at Yoda. The creature was insane, throwing such a large chunk of metal at him! Kyuubi leapt out of the way before that train could hit him, leaving Garnet exposed to what was supposed to have been his fate.

She had almost forgotten about Ifrit's presence, and she didn't understand completely the summon's will to protect the summoner. She heard the train crash against something, the bending of metal, and the ground cracking beneath her feet, and beneath her summon's.
She slowly, slowly stood up, her hair flowing crazily about her, despite being held by her barrette. She could have laughed in her utter thanks for this creature that she had summoned, almost purely on accident.
He set the train down as gently as he could manage, which more or less resulted in dropping it where it was. Ifrit looked at Garnet one moment more, to be assured that she was safe, though he couldn't stay any longer if she weren't. She smiled and nodded, and he knew he could leave safely.
With Ifrit gone, however, that left Garnet in a predicament, knowing that the fox would surely go after someone who seemed harmless, and she was really. She didn't feel as though she could summon again, not even Shiva. She took a step back from the train, and took her rod out.
She would defend herself to the best of her abilities, then! That was all she could do!
