paixaorpg | Gee, it's good to be together again! [completed]

Content: Reuniting and going to find a place to stay (and maybe dinner).
Setting: Just outside of Iriela Apartments II, in J3
Time: Pretty late at night.
Warnings: Lesbian crushes?

There were some parts of Paixao that really needed train service. She'd have to take that up with that Mayor person on the message board later. But for now, Chizuru found a gem-encrusted apple tree, snagged a (disarmingly heavy) golden fruit from a low-hanging bough, and persuaded a cabby with a cheap rickshaw to get her there.

She napped on the way, snapping awake every time a jerk aggravated sore muscles, then blinking herself back to sleep. She couldn't help it. It had been a long, terrifying, and exhausting day, and it was getting later and later into the night. Napping also helped while away the time until the cabby shouted her awake with, "We're at Iriela Apartments Two, hope you enjoyed your ride!" and "helping" her out of the wagon with a brisk shove.

"I am never tipping for that kind of service again," she muttered blearily, rubbing her eyes open and looking around for a familiar brunette girl...

Alice had waited very patiently. If there was one thing fighting for your life taught you, it was every move, every step deserved a bit of thought. Alice had taken this time to think if all the things that had happened within the last few days.

She'd been deposited here immediately after the fall of the Queen of Hearts. She had met two very interesting people, starting with Sora. She had met a very nice (hot) girl she found interesting. There had been a battle with otherworldly beings she'd never met before. She had come face to face with an enemy that had transported her to this place. All in all, quite a big pill to swallow. Alice shook her head.

She could hear music being played and almost felt tempted to do a jig. Despite being here under very strange circumstances, Iriela Apartments II was a rather pleasant place and full of lively people. Of course, in the smallest part of her head, Alice would hope to share it with someone...and no sooner had she though this she saw a familiar red head walking about the place, apparently looking for her. Alice managed a small smile and slunk a little, creeping gently towards her. Without warning, she goosed the girl and gave her a polite curtsy.

"Sorry, couldn't resist," Alice said. "I hope you weren't searching long."

Chizuru shrieked at the assault, then giggled as she recognized who it was. "Whoops! You scared me, Alice! I thought for a moment it was one of those..." she trailed off for a second, and her smile faltered at the thought of those black-coated menfolk, "... yeah, well... I just got here, really."

After another hesitation, she offered her hand. "So, our plans were dinner and a hotel room, right?" Oh, dear. That sounded dirtier than she'd meant the way she said it. Hopefully Alice wouldn't take it the wrong way, she didn't want to spook off the first cute girl to actually seem interested in her in return...

"Yes, those people..." Alice's voice trailed off, and she had a hardened look on her face. "I shall deal with them soon enough. I don't fancy a bit of fireworks and being plucked from where I am to this other place, however interesting it was. However, I have every intention of finding Sora. I heard he was spotted in an academy of a sort, and I wish to see if he's still there."

Alice smiled. "I'm feeling a bit peeky after all this, so yes, a hot meal, bath and bed sounds heavenly. I daresay it'll be the first time in a long time I had comforts of any sort like that."

That, and if she got to know her quirky friend a bit more, she certainly wouldn't object.

Chizuru had taken the liberty of choosing a restaurant and a hotel on her ride, but while it was easy enough to scrounge for exchangeable goods and get some money, what the schoolgirl had on her now wouldn't cover enough of it. Still, she hailed the cabby again, told him that now she and her companion needed transport to The Wild Ginger-- a very pricey nightclub but with notoriously good food. It would be a dinner date worth remembering, and screw the cost! And then? Only the best for a romantic night! And in Paixao, the best was the expensive hotel Morem o Lisboa!

The only thing missing for it to be a real date was a chick-flick. Or maybe a horror movie, given Alice's more... violent... tendancies. But no force in existance had been kind enough to bless Paixao with a movie theater, so they would simply have to go without! It didn't matter. Chizuru wouldn't let anything get in the way of her evening with Alice!
