Character(s): Jack Sparrow, Luxord, Himura Kenshin, and anyone who wants to join in the thread :3
Content: Jack's lost, and he's looking for people to talk to. Because.
Setting: Near the Grand Central Station, and he wanders
Time: Monday Morning
Warnings: Really, this is Jack Sparrow we're talking about. What's not to warn?
Well, Jack was in a right pickle. Straying from the quaint man in green and his merry little band of friends - he supposed the small white-haired spawn of Commodore Beckett probably was considered as one as well - he wandered into the city, his attention momentarily caught by a few busty wenches before the jingle of jewels distracted him promptly, which led him to discreetly pocket a few of the gems that were hanging around in this treasure city.
It wasn't like anyone would miss them, would they? Besides, he'd always just say that his fingers slipped, and...well, he'd think about that when he actually got caught. No sense worrying about something that silly right now.
Whistling a jaunty tune that he'd made up on the spot, the captain's kohl-lined eyes wandered, taking in the sights and sounds of such a curious little city, and wondering how long it would take to ransack this beautiful place and make off with it to the nearest exit before they caught him. Then again, it was not like he had the Black Pearl waiting for him now.
Feeling a faint sadness in his chest - he really did love her, and they'd spent too little time together before he was dumped here like a sack of potatoes - he paused, fishing out his empty tankard of rum before he simply tossed the useless thing away. Rum. Rum was always the answer to his problems.
Proliferous amounts of it.
Now then, where was it supposed to be?

no subject
Then again, there was rum, something that outweighed all the cons he could ever think of. And stories. Generally he liked telling stories to those tavern wenches, plenty of them, but he wasn't averse to telling them to anyone else as well, since Jack - when not running for his life - liked regalling others with his tales that grew more and more absurd by the day.
At his last words, Jack simply gave him a grin and remarked, "Perhaps if ye would give me a name, I might not resort to name-calling."
