Things That Shouldn't Happen Keep Happening [Complete]
Character(s): Blue
Content: Blue finds herself teleported back into the city, recalling what had happened.
Setting: L6 area, right by Estale a Cereja
Time: late evening, immediately following this thread
Warnings: None
Slowly, she took in her surroundings, eyes wide with a sinking fear. The domes? The city? Paixao? But she was... she was...
The situation hurt to think about. The had barely gotten far from the city itself when they were attacked - because they left the city? Or coincidence? Like the creatures that had attacked the city once before, but they seemed different at the same time. They were... strange. And yet Blue still held no chance against them, especially finding herself human and not a wolf.
Blue stumbled against the nearest building - the Estale a Cereja; she avoided going inside - and tried to keep herself stable, breathing slowly, trying to let her body sink back into calmness, but her memories were haunted by the sight of those people in black taking Gaston and the pieces of Jack, her friends! Her... pack? That's how she had begun to see them, anyway. It wasn't the same comfort of protection and goal as being with Hige and Toboe and Kiba and Tsume had been... but... there was still something... something she didn't let go of.
And she couldn't do anything! The vines had come out of nowhere, pressing against her struggling body as she called out - Jack! Gaston! - and then she fell back into the darkness that enveloped her body.
And she, almost tripping over her feet, was on the grounds of the city again. Barely sure of where she was. But when she finally figured it out, it was so far from where she had been that it was almost sickening.
... she couldn't do anything.
They were gone. Just... like that.
Blue slid back and sat against the building, hanging her head, and trying to keep her emotions under control.
