Toph sighed. It had been a rather sleepless night for her, and now she was worried about Terra. She realized this must have been what Kir had been feeling when he talked about his friend Jing, because Terra had been the first person Toph had befriended in this crazy place. She wanted to believe that Terra was ok, but she was starting to feel very frustrated with this place. It was one thing to be randomly thrown into this completely new place, which sucked because she didn't even know its layout. NOW they had to worry about ghost guys, kidnappings of people they cared about and, on top of that, amnesia! It was too much, and Toph found that she was at the end of her rope. Not even the surprisingly good sandwich she was eating this morning helped.

She turned to Kir's direction. She had barely gotten to know him but she was sympathetic to his aim: he was looking to be with the person that made him feel a lot more stable, and now that he was gone, they had to take his memories too. This was the last straw. She heard Kir's question, and looked in his direction.

"We can't do this alone. I'm going to try and get your memories back, but we'll need help. I have this, uh, friend. You know him, but you forgot you did, and...well, whatever, he's an acquaintance. His name is Timon. He's really conceited and really annoying, but he's been gathering people together, and I think that might be our best bet for now."

Toph stopped to appreciate the decor of the place. Although she got the idea it wasn't one of their better places to stay, there was a serene stillness about it that made Toph a bit more certain.
