Raito had never seen a place like this before. It was unnatural and it somehow set his teeth on the edge. However, being rather adept in the art of acting, he simply leaned back in one of the chairs. If the Kira-supporter had come from Japan, chances are that he would have dark hair as well - which would be rather easy to spot in a crowd like this.
A few minutes of flirting with the girl at the counter got him a cup of steaming black coffee and her address on the back of the napkin. It felt odd somehow, exercising his charms for a simple cup of caffeine, but the truth was that he had no money on him - something that he planned on changing sometime soon.
Tapping his fingers lightly against the pristine white cup, he took another sip, feeling the familiar beverage soothe his nerves, if only a little, even as he kept an eye out for anyone who even remotely fit his profile. He'd come here half an hour early and had gotten the table furthest from the crowd. A discreet check around for bugs had proved that there was none of the like, but then again, one could never be too careful.
One misstep, and Kira would be caught.
Adjusting the long-sleeved white button up shirt he wore, he undid one button and his cuffs thanks to the sheer warmth. Crossing his ankles, he settled back once more and contented himself with scanning the crowd for the man who had been supposed to meet him. To his credit, he was smarter than the average lot of them, and Raito made sure to keep him in mind in case he required his...assistance in any future plans.
He would probably be much easier to handle than Misa would.

A glance down, Teru noted there was an empty chair cross from him, seeing as he was sitting at this table himself. "If you don't mind..." He didn't even finish the sentence, and seemed completely uninterested in learning his name (why bother, when he already knew); whether he wanted him to sit there or not wasn't his concern. He moved to settle in the chair, a hand lifting to seemingly adjust his suit when he was really making sure the Death Note stayed in proper place under his jacket.
More than anything, he was concerned to learn what made this man seem so haughty, why he liked to act like he knew more thank Teru. He had a difficult time believing he was actually affiliated with Kira in any way. Boy, was he in for a surprise.

Lifting the cup to his lips as Mikami sat down, Raito noted the way his hand moved to adjust his suit as he sat down, and idly wondering if he was keeping a gun in there, if he really was some sort of undercover agent.
Then again, probably not. For one, Mikami seemed to be as wary of Raito as he was of him, and Raito himself was beginning to think that perhaps they may have something in common, social skills not being one of them here.
His gaze flicking up at Mikami once more, he decided to start the ball rolling. As much as he'd picked up from the older man, Raito had deduced that at this point, being charming was not the attribute that would impress him at all. "You seem like a very devout supporter of Kira and his ways of dealing with criminals. Why are you so willing to do anything for him?"
