Why was he on the grass? Hadn’t he been in bed a moment ago…           …dying? Had he not become one with the Force? The Grand Master of the Jedi reached out through the Force, life was surrounding him in the grass and all of the miniscule organisms to small to see with the naked eye. There were other organisms surrounding him, humanoid and sentient, but harmless. They seemed to be ignoring him. Turning his focus inward, he found that he was much healthier than he had been in some time. It felt as though his youth had been restored but his instincts told him that this was not the case.

Yoda opened his eyes, and was greeted by the sight of a bright blue sky. He hadn’t seen the sky in over twenty years. Slowly he stood up, and as he did so he felt a familiar weight on his belt. His lightsaber! But he had lost it in his duel with Darth Sidious. How had it gotten back to him? For that matter, where was he? How had he gotten here? And was that his gimer stick on the ground?
It was! He gave it gnaw, enjoying the nutritious juice that oozed from the stick and down his throat. Yes this was his gimer stick.

“Hey, do you mind? You’re holding up the line!” He glanced about quickly, playing the part of a confused old man, which for the most part he was. He was indeed in a line and was holding it up. It seemed to be mostly composed of one species of near identical looking humanoids. A quick inspection of the mind that belonged to the one who had spoken to him revealed them to be an incredibly weak willed species that followed protocol to the letter. He would only aggravate them and stand out if he asked questions at the moment; he should just get in line and move along. So he did. It was not wise for a wanted Jedi to stand out to much.

Shortly he reached the front and found himself at an enormous gate. A man was sitting behind a desk and was taking names. “Your’ name please.”

“Need my name you do not.” Said Yoda with a wave of his hand, “Need your’ name I do not.” repeated the man in a monotone.

“Treat me like any other entering the through the gate you will.” Said Yoda.

“Treat you like any other entering through the gate I will.” Repeated the man.

The man handed Yoda a bright green piece of primitive technology which he quickly tucked inside of his robes next to his lightsaber, and moved along inside.
