Hiro's Arrival [Active]
Character(s): Hiro, Jazz, Timcampi
Content: Hiro's arrival.
Setting: Joutenheim gate
Time: Afternoonish
Warnings: None yet.
What was going on? He tried so hard to get back to where he needed to be, and it wasn't working. His powers weren't working.
Hiro's heart wasn't in it fully, faultering with conflict. He had tried to be a hero. He wanted to be.. but he couldn't. He failed to save her.
Charlie.. I'm sorry..
One minute he was back in Japan, at his job. Everyone was living their daily lives, but this wasn't where Hiro was supposed to be. He clenched his eyes tight, took a deep breath, and concentrated.
Please.. let it work..
He reopened his eyes, in a world entirely unfamiliar. A gate seperated him from a city, but it was entirely different from Tokyo or New York. The clothing was different. And he didn't remember a gate; if either city had a gate he would have certainly noticed it. New York definately had skyscrapers, but no gates. So then..
"Name?"
Hiro jumped back, rather startled. "..Nani?"
"Name?" The guard spoke again.
"..Oh! My name is Hiro Nakamura, and I am on a mission to save the world!" He chirped, smiling. The guard looked unamused, but that didn't phase him.
"Here you are, thank you and welcome to Paixao." Hiro took the small object that was presented to him, curiously looking it over. He could think of many ways to use it, but they were probably not the official one. Walking through the gate, Hiro stopped and glanced around with awe.
"...Wow.."

If it hadn't before, it was really starting to sink in that she was totally alone in this strange place, and that the blond haired people were all ignoring her, or were staring into space. One of them even sounded suspisciously like Paulina!
She placed a hand over her eye and let out a frustrated sigh. She couldn't move about this city alone! Something didn't seem right about working on her own. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be a viable partner anywhere! And she groaned again and turned back towards the gate.
There! There was someone who looked out of the ordinary! And he seemed to have some sort of facial expression! Perhaps he would be able to help her, or vice versa.
It didn't take much for Jazz to convince herself to talk to the (friendly-looking) stranger. She ran up to him, waving all the while. "Excuse me! Excuse me!!"

He'd accompanied his new friend, Hanataro to the clothing place and in exchange for some random shiny things they had found outside, Tim now sported a very large shirt that covered him almost completely. (They were going to get some pants but they were out of his size.)
Once they'd taken care of that, Hana had said good-bye to Tim, saying something about finding a friend of his, and left the little golem to himself.
This was okay, because he'd peeked in on his journal while Hana was looking for clothes, and he found that Miranda and Allen were here all safe and sound! And they were meeting up soon!
In....another place.
That he had no clue about. Huh. Maybe there was a map on this thing.
Tim fiddled with the journal for moment, but only succeded in having it scream "ERROR" at him. He gave up and decided it was best to have someone show him.
He looked around for a moment and saw a few smart looking people. Without hesitation and he took off in their direction.

It took him a moment to realize that she was running towards him, and not to someone else.
"Can I help you?" His six months with Charlie were certainly not a waste, although his English still needed practice.
There was another person approaching, and Hiro felt himself get slightly flustered. Was he drawing too much attention to himself? Maybe he would invest in a better disguise while he was here.
"Hello!" He waved to Tim as he approached, seemingly unphazed by everything other than attention.

"Uh, hi. My name's Jazz Fenton," she said by way of introduction. "I... was hoping to find someone to travel with, while we're stuck here."
She grimaced, expecting him to say no at any moment.

Not really waiting for the two to finish their introductions he took one little hand and roughly tugged on their pants legs. He pointed vigously at his journal screen and then looked back up at them. His tail, which seemed bigger than he was, wagged curiously behind him.
He needed help with the journals, or at the very least, a map. Then he could go find Allen if he forgot about him.

This new voice belonged to a strange creature, human-like except for the obvious wolfish features and crimson-marked white fur that covered her. Amaterasu had somehow acquired a hanger-on, a white weaselly creature with glowing yellow eyes, to which she had just been talking. A Lumen of some sort, but Ammy didn't know that. It kept following her, and she had guessed it was because it wanted something from her. Food was the first thing that came to her mind, but considering that she lacked much of anything, she didn't have any to give to this persistent critter.
She spied the small group of people ahead and stopped. A small smile pulled at one corner of her mouth as she continued walking forwards. "My greetings to you," she said to them, looking at each of them as she spoke.

Any sad thoughts were pushed out of his mind for the moment, as he adjusted his glasses.
"Nice to meet you, Jazz-san." She went on, talking about traveling with someone. Him? "..Jazz-san know where we are?" He glanced around, curious expression overshadowing his smile for the moment. "But yes, safety in numbers!" And having a side kick - or being one - would make this more enjoyable, right? He did miss having Ando around.. Too bad his comic book ran out at this point, he wasn't sure if this was in his destiny or not.
His pant leg was tugged on, and he blinked, glancing down at.. the furry looking thing. Umm.. Naturally more curious than inclined to fear, he knelt down and glanced at the thing that the creature held. "Ahh, the teleporter!" He exclaimed. "You have one too?"
Hiro really had an active imagination, and had no idea what his was either.
The third voice caught his attention and he glanced up. Boy, he was certainly attracting attention today! This one also had a weird looking pet of sorts. "Hello!" He greeted, cheerfully anyway. "You wish to join team too?"
no subject
Right, then. She tried to smile, but it came off as more of a nervous grin. "Uh... We're in Paixao, I think. That's what the-- teleporter?"
She stared at the curious Japanese man for a moment and placed her hand to her forehead. "No, no, no! It's not a teleporter! It's a... type of computer! Computers don't teleport people," she said with a laugh and a smile, which she tried to extend to the newcomers.
Man, this would be an odd party, she realized.
no subject
What?
No it was a--oh the girl had explained it to him. Well atleast one of the people he ran to was actually smart. He turned his head to her and decided to tug on her pants again to get her attention, completely ignoring the guy. He wanted that damn map!
He pointed some more to the journal. He really hated the "No Talking" thing.
no subject
It was wishful thinking anyway, although he was starting to lose his optimism.
"Con-pyu-ter." He stated, nodding his head. Strange, it didn't look like the ones back home.
It was then that he realized he didn't introduce himself! "Oh! How rude of me. My name is Hiro Nakamura, and I am a super hero." He smiled, managing a polite bow, which ended with him adjusting his glasses on his face as he straightened up.
no subject
"Of all the things I imagined finding here, I never imagined I'd find a superhero," she said, and then, to everybody, "The name's Amaterasu. How do you do?"
no subject
She looked at her own and flipped it open, her eyes scanning over the contents again. After a moment's search, she found a map. They were near the Joutenheim map, weren't they? And... She still had no clue where she should look for Danny.
"Okay... we're in Joutenheim..." She mumbled more to herself. Would it be better to head towards the center of the city? Actually, it probably would. She left a note for Danny, and closed the journal, and closed hers, a smile crossing over her face when she finally heard Hiro's tail end statement.
"Ah, My brother's a superhero too!" And she glanced at Amaterasu, a nervous smile on her face.
"Um... Well, do you guys think we should head towards the center of the city?" It seemed like a good enough plan to her! Unless someone had something different, anyway.
no subject
He saw her open the maps up and as he watched he locked that bit of information in his mind. As a golem whose partial funtion was to record, his memory was damn near photographic.
Confident that he could easily do it again, he looked down at his own journal and clicked it open. He played with a few buttons and soon brought it up. He was able to find what he was looking for. He grinned wide at the girl, letting his shark-like teeth show brilliantly and he...
...ran off as quickly as he came. He needed to go find Allen immidiatly. He didn't want to be stuck in this city by himself, not one bit.
no subject
She glanced at Jazz for a moment. "So many superheroes around here, it seems. As for where to go, I would not mind whatever," she said. "Although...would there happen to be a shop of any sort around there? I need to, ah, restock some of my supplies, since I appear to have lost them when I came through that gate. Rather a pity, since there was quite a bit of stuff that I had..."

This was, however, a routine occurence, at least to the person causing the halt.
Luxord stepped out of the newly-appeared portal of darkness, appraising the scene frozen before him. The red-haired one was the one he was after.
He was momentarily distracted, however, by the boy. He had power over time. This could prove to be quite interesting...
But then the Superior's threats to Larxene came to mind. Being disobeyed twice in such a short span of time was sure to incur his wrath, and that was never fun for those on the receiving end.
The consequences did not outweigh the benefits here.
Luxord sighed slightly and, taking hold of the girl, reentered the portal, allowing it to close behind him. Maybe another day.
Time resumed.

But.. saying he was a super hero made people seem to trust in him, and he felt better. Maybe this time he could protect people, and keep them from being hurt.
Of course, that idea was shot down as soon as suddenly Jazz was no longer there. He blinked a moment, as he was staring right at her, and then she was gone. Fear slowly edged in on him. Someone else could stop time? Better than he could, it looked like.. "Jazu-san? Jazu-san!" Calling her name and getting no reply, he glanced over at the other members of the group, those remaining, and tried so hard not to look as frantic as he felt.
It was really hard not to.
"We must save Jazu-san!" Nevermind the how, of course.
no subject
"How do you suppose we do that?" she asked, looking over at Hiro. She was all for saving people - that was one of the reasons she'd been brought back to life in the first place, after all - but she wondered how far they could actually get. "Whoever or whatever did this didn't leave us much to go on."
no subject
How was he going to get his powers back? He needed those, first and foremost. Without them he was helpless.
"Maybe we should ask others?" He spoke, trying to keep his English as unawkward as possible. "Maybe other people know more than we do?"
