Getting It Together. [active]

Character(s): Rabi, Allen Walker, Miranda Lott
Content: Rabi and Allen have finally made it to Muspelheim to retrieve Miranda! It only took months longer than it was supposed to! :D
Setting: Cafe Ersesat in M4
Time: middle of the afternoon
Warnings: none thusfar? :D

Rabi and Allen had braved the cold of Niflheim, found shelter from the crazy weather near the center of Paixao, and trooped determinedly towards Muspelheim. Rabi suggested to Miranda and Allen that they meet at a cafe and there dine while they gather their bearings.

The two didn't have any qualms, so Rabi set up a meeting at Care Ersesat. Afternoon, don't be late, we'll get reacquainted and figure out what we're doing.

It was just about time for them to all meet up. Rabi lounged against the outside wall of the establishment and waited until they were all together.

[Snow fails, orz.]

Allen's back was rested firmly against the wall that Rabi was leaning against, his legs bent in a squat and his arms resting across his lifted knees while his heels were just under his behind. He seemed relatively comfortable, and was a little zoned out.

So Linali and Miranda were both there... and now he found out Timcanpi, too.

What... about Cross? The others? He frowned a little and stared ahead, rubbing at the back of his white-haired head with a sigh. He'd tried contacting Komui through the ear piece that had previously dangled from the lobe, but... that didn't seem to work at all. So he'd taken it off, and was now intent on figuring out his journal that rested on the ground in front of him.

She had been SO sure that she wasn't going to be late. She'd be so early, she'd be the first one there! She would be there hours earlier and then she wouldn't have to worry about making the others wait.

That had been the original plan... but then she had stayed up for far too long fretting and worrying about this strange new place and the dangers and if her friends were truly all right, and then she had tripped and fallen down a small flight of stairs that morning and had needed to doctor her minor cuts and scrapes...

Miranda had done her best, but she was still the last one there and she hurried towards her friends, already teary and apologetic.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry that I've had to make you wait for so long! Y-you're both all right? Allen? Rabi? I-I was so worried..."

She trailed off, sniffling and wiping at her eyes with a shaking hand. "I'm s-so happy to see y-you both..."

Looking up when he heard Miranda's frantic apologies, Allen smiled a bit now before reaching behind him to a pouch situated on his uniform. He shifted to stand, one hand behind him and the other picking up his journal. Stepping towards her, he pulled the hand out from behind him and held up what seemed to be a hankerchief to her.

He was prepared, he expected Miranda to be late as well, and for the same reasons. But he was glad to see she was all right and still quite Miranda, so was pretty glad he'd grabbed something for her.

"Here, Miranda. Don't worry about it, all right? We're here, and that's all that matters." There was an 'everything's going to be fine' Allen smile inserted,

They were both smiling, evidently not angry with her, and Miranda's relief was so great that she (for once) managed to calm herself down and even mustered a tiny smile of her own.

"I'm sorry," she murmured one final time, accepting the handkerchief from Allen and wiping her eyes. "I didn't mean to get so hysterical, I was just worried that you'd get impatient and leave-- not that I'd blame you, but I..."

She took a deep breath, nodding at Rabi. "I'm fine now. I only ran into a little trouble when I first arrived here, but otherwise... nothing of importance. Shall we go in...?"

Allen simply kept his smile, chuckling a little before giving Rabi a nod. "I think that'd probably be a good idea..." he rubbed at the back of his white hair a little with a hand, before managing to fit his journal into the pouch behind him and making his way into the opened door.

It probably would've been best if Linali could've come as well, and any of the other Exorcists that could've been there, but it wasn't like he could get them all there with the snap of his fingers. It was jut a bit of an inconvenience for the meantime, that was all.

He was unaware of the headache he was probably going to suffer through soon enough.
