Figuring out the journals had been stupidly easy. Convincing the kid - Sora - to meet him had taken a bit more work, but it had paid off in the end. Nobody would suspect Sylar of a damn thing if he had some preteen running around with him. After a quick trip into a nearby shop, the bloody hoodie had been disposed of and a dark sweater was now tied around his waist in its place. Not the best cover on the planet, but he didn't think he could get a good pair of jeans here, and water had only gotten so much of the blood off. The sweater, however idiotic it may have looked, covered the rest.
Getting a train ticket had been simple as well. Raven's information was right - all he had to do was wave a quarter from his pocket in front of the teller and he got a ticket to the next train.
The hour-long ride had given him time to think and peruse the journals more thoroughly. Laharl, he decided, could be a problem if not kept in check. Raven would be a useful source of information. This Organization that everybody mentioned every other line seemed to be running the show. If the Larxene commenting on his journal entry had anything to do with them...well.
Whatever maniac had thought this up had done a thorough job. Sylar would take extra pleasure in taking off the top of his head and using the dead person's power of illusion for himself. If it was this strong, he'd never have to worry about being pursued again.
But for now, it was time to meet this Sora kid.
He stepped off the train and into the crowd at the station, searching for the brown hair and bright clothes that would pinpoint his new companion.

"And if we can't distract them then we can just put them to sleep!" She suggested, already growing excited by the prospect of an adventure. She could tell that it was going to be really fun, going on a quest with new friends.
She still missed her old friends a lot though, especially Angelo. It was hard remembering a time when she was not with her canine best friend. They had always travelled together, Angelo could even help her in combat now. Which reminded her, "Don't you guys think we should stock up on ammunition and things first before setting out?" She suggested. "There could be... stuff, out there." Rinoa was never known for being specific.
