Why did we both come here? [Completed]
Character(s): Machu Picchu/The Winged Defender
Content: Picchu ended up wandering, rather than back at the hotel. She notes that her wings have returned to out-of-time Michael's span. She has been wondering why the two Emissaries are in this glorious city that seems so good.
Setting: Paixao Central Station
Time: afternoon
Warnings: lots of overthinking. Some spoiler-ish material as for the Defender sequential time is not regarded as highly as it is for Picchu.
Having walked quite a distance, Picchu glanced around at the change in scenery. She was not far from the train station, apparently the central one by the elaborate design. Picchu sighed, flapping her wings again to dry them off. At least the weather had ceased to be stormy, finally. Putting her sword flat at her feet, she began to use her hands to comb the feathers back again after checking to see what her wingspan looked like. Rather interestingly enough, it was Michael's wings in the rainbow pattern. That would mean she could probably carry her weight with them. A delightful discovery.
Feathers finally in order, she contemplated the city. It seemed mostly aligned with light, with bits that were unaligned. Of course, as in most places some of the people were aligned more to the Beautiful One and the Silent One's spectrums, but most were aligned with her own.
Although the other question was, 'Why are the Emissaries here?' The Father of Lies and the Lightbringer in the same city again. It only happened rarely that the Emissaries would return to the cities they aligned. And often it was because a Choice had been done with faults, usually involving the participants. You needed all the ancestors for the Choice. Perhaps they had missed someone?
