There's probably a good reason I feel I've missed something 'end-of-the-world-ish' [complete]

Character(s): Danny, Misha, and Valerie.
Content: Danny wakes up from a seemingly peaceful sleep.
Setting: Haja o Que Houver, Vanaheim [F4]
Time: Morning, after the dreamscape incident with Dan, Misha, and Valerie.
Warnings: None just yet.

Well, that was a pleasent surprise.

For the first time in a long time, Danny had a nice peaceful, uninterrupted sleep and it wasn't aided by a certain pink haired Angel. He opened his eyes, carefully letting the light spill in. After sitting up he stretched and looked around his surroundings. He was in that hotel room, the one they had gotten the day before. Hopefully their plan had worked and Dan was at a loss as to their location.

Placing to socked feet on the ground he scratched his head and realized something was different.

Where was that irritating sound of pouring rain?

And there was sun?

Guess the rain finally cleared up. He walked over to the window to look. He instently regretting putting his hands up to the pane as they felt like they were atleast hot enough to cook an egg on. What in the world?

What was WITH this place?

Turning back around, Danny finally caught a glimpse at something that was awkwardly out of place.

Was that Misha's bunny-hairribbon-thing? When did that get there? Maybe Misha had put it there last night, it sounded like something she would do.

Coming a little closer to it, he noticed that it appeared to be alive???

Valerie looked at Misha and Danny and sighed. There were so many things she wanted to say, but she didn't know where to begin. Between seeing Danny in the green and Larxene's comments in her journal, she was torn. Could she really just leave the two of them alone and expect them to be OK? There were a million thoughts going on, but there was a part of her that knew she had a responsibility too. She swore that she'd not leave people to suffer because of her own ignorance and anger, that she'd do whatever she could. So there was only one thing to do in this sort of situation that would absolve a little of the guilt.

"Guys," she said gently, "I'm going to have to get going soon. I made a promise awhile ago, that I wouldn't let people get hurt because I was oblivious to other people's pain. Some thing's sorta come up, and I have to find some answers. I'll be back though, and I'll try to find you guys as soon as I can. It's just I...I have to get to the bottom of what's happening with people here, and as stupid as it sounds, I don't want you guys getting hurt. I'm sorry, but I gotta go."

It sounded stupid, of course, considering what she'd seen Misha do. At that point, Valerie burst out the door, because there was a few other things she was leaving out.

She'd read Larxene's journal, and there was no way she'd subject Danny or Misha to her, who knows what happened to Timon. Besides, she made a promise to Timon that nothing would happen to Misha, and she meant it. As for Danny, well, that just evoked a whole bunch of emotions Valerie preferred not to think about.

She had to be strong. She had to fight. Most importantly , she had to win.
