Relocating [Completed]
Character(s): Misha (
angelicklutz), Danny (
muffinsplz), Valerie (
valerie_dark)
Content: Misha and Danny decide to relocate for their own safety, and run into Valerie
Setting: Vanaheim [F3]
Time: Morning after this
Warnings: None yet.
It had been kind of an awkward morning, upon waking to find that she and Danny were sleeping in the same bed. Danny had spluttered something incomprehensible, but Misha had mostly just been confused by his reaction. After all, hadn't he said it was okay that she stay, especially after what had happened? And she'd been glad to stay, because she didn't feel all alone in a big room.
But through talking, they'd come to the conclusion that Dan might know where they were -- how else could he have gotten into Danny's dreams? And both of them weren't eager to experience something like that ever again. So they'd decided to leave the Acuta Are hotel, maybe even Vanaheim altogether.
Misha had gone back to her room to pack, not that she had many things. Only her pajamas, her uniform that she used to wear to school, and her To-Heaven box.
She was all ready, but she was a little afraid to leave her room now. Because her wings still hurt, she couldn't pull them into hiding, and she definitely didn't want to be walking around with them out. So she sat on the edge of her bed, kicking her legs a bit.

no subject
Valerie closed her eyes and crossed her arms. "I was just told money grows out of trees, and we’re in a place full of fake plants. You think this place surprises me anymore?" She shook her head, and then looked worried. "Yeah, you’re probably from another world, aren’t you? Just like us, except you don’t look like you belong here."
What was she saying? The little girl sprouts wings while all she had was man made equipment, and she was trying to tell her where she belonged? There was that…but something told her that there had to be something pretty mean to that to a little girl like her, and whatever it was, Valerie was already bothered. The next words out of her mouth hardly felt like her own, but she meant them all the same.
"It was…him, wasn’t it Danny? He did this to her. You know who I mean." Valerie’s expression changed now. She had no clue how that girl got involved, but that didn’t matter now. As long as Danny was with her, it might happen again. "Damn. I should have known."
Valerie looked at the girl again. It reminded her of how stupid she’d been, chasing after ghosts without rhyme or reason while people like her really needed help. No wonder Danny was wary about her seeing the wings. She must have seemed like an overzealous mad woman.
