Well, it was fairly obvious to Misha that these two knew each other. Could this be one of the friends that Danny had been missing so badly since he'd come to Paixao? That certainly explained his reaction to her appearance.
This new girl, Valerie (since that's what Danny had called her) was moving them away from the busy street and down a much smaller one, where there weren't any people.
She understood that Danny couldn't very well keep hiding her wings, since it required a physical contact. But even though these two appeared to know each other, she was a little afraid of revealing herself to a stranger. It was one thing to talk about being from Heaven, it was another entirely to go flashing around a rather obvious pair of wings.
Wincing as she concentrated, Misha tried to make the wings grow intangible, but the pain stopped her. It's hurt'su, it hurt'su! Oww'su!
At least it was only the three of them around for the moment. Maybe Danny would know what to do.
