Misha bit her lip to keep from crying out as Danny practically fell onto her wings. She knew it wasn't his fault (if anything, it was hers for looking inside of shops instead of where she was going!) but it still hurt like a bugger.
The angel apprentice looked up suddenly as the person she'd collided with shouted Danny's name, and he answered with an equally excited reply. It was a good thing he was still holding onto her wings and keeping them invisible, though, because all the shouting was attracting the attention of the strange luminous people who were the city's natives.
"Danny-kun," she whimpered softly, when the pressure didn't ease up. She wanted to pull away but was afraid all these people would see her, including the new girl that stood in front of them and had called his name.
