-Wherein there is one bored Bookman Junior- [active]
Character(s): Rabi, Allen
Content: Wherein Allen finds Rabi by Niflheimafter waiting nearly the whole freaking day.
Setting: Niflheim
Time: early evening
Warnings: none! :O
Rabi was walking around the gate area of Niflheim as he waited for Allen.
When he wasn't noting the odd ends about this place, he was figuring out the small, silver retangle device that the guide had called a "journal." He'd been comitting the map to memory and the like, figuring out what everything did. He'd also figured out the message board and found Miranda and Allen. Therein Allen had said he was there as well and would come find him.
Rabi rocked back on his heels and glanced about the area with his only eye. Niflheim was affiliated with ice, it seemed. According to the map, he was pretty much smack in the center of the city.
He sighed. The locals didn't seem very interesting. He'd tried joking with the pretty guide near the gate, but she hadn't done much in response.
"Booored," he sighed, scanning the area for Allen once again.
((ooc; in which the newbie tries to fit in. Tell me if there's anything wrong with the time, Snow. e.e;))

Allen took forever to find Rabi. Like, all day forever.
Allen sucked at looking for things, in all honesty. He'd accidentally gone deeper into Paixao at least twice now, tempted to ask Rabi on the journals where in the hell he was. But in the end he managed stumbling his way back to where he had begun. And when that happened, he sat down and stared at the map for a while, complaining about how he wanted something that was more clear to read. Or just one of his friends to follow instead of being lost.
In the end, he just relied on his eyes. And saw "I AM BRIGHT RED AND ORANGE, LOOKIT ME!" within ten, fifteen minutes of roaming around. He didn't even need to double-take to know it was Rabi, but he did anyways and soon found himself running towards the back of the other Exorcist, prepared to tackle him to the ground.
"Rabi!" of course he did slow down so that this hopefully didn't happen.

Rabi wheeled around when he heard his name being called, and, much to his glee, spotted just what he'd been waiting for ALL DAY. Rabi grinned and couldn't help the laugh that bubbled up his throat. It forced its way through closed lips and out his mouth. A sharp sound among the hustle and mutter of the rest of Paixao.
"Allen!" Rabi waved an arm in the air. Though he supposed he was hard to miss. Not many people wore a bright orange scarf.

"Do you know what happened, Rabi? How we got here?" Though it was a little rushed as he blurted it out, Allen needed to know how they got here. Because honestly, he still couldn't think it was the Earl's fault this time...

"Not really. I'm assumin' whatever pulled us into the ground did it," he responded. Rabi paused for a moment and added, as an afterthought, "When that thing pulled Linali into the ground, you followed. I snagged your ankle before you got completely swallowed."

Rubbing at the side of his neck, he kept his frown, and tried to figure what in the hell they were going to do. Their numbers were depleted, and he wasn't even sure if Crowley or Kanda were here as well... But he had the strangest feeling he'd be seeing at least someone (oh god, please not master Cross please. while he would be relieved, he was pretty sure it wouldn't be good) that he knew well enough.

And Rabi wanted to badly to pinch those cheeks into a smile. He settled for shoving a hand in his pocket and ruffling Allen's white hair with the other.
"Don't get wound up over it," he said. Rabi was grateful for at least having Allen around. And Miranda and Linali were somewhere.

He swatted up at Rabi's hand and gave him an agitated look, although it died down and he seemed to calm a little. "I can't help it, Rabi... who knows what's happened with the Earl... and I'm worried about the others..."
There was a slight smile though, and he looked up to the redhead again. "But it's like we're here together, right? So..."

Rabi chuckled lightly. "I am, too, but we won't get anywhere by chewing our nails and making funny faces over it. Your face'll freeze if you keep frownin' like that."
Rabi brightened and grinned back in response to Allen's slight smile. "Yeah."

"At least I don't make Kanda's faces," he stated bluntly, letting a slight grin crack out. He bet by now that Kanda's face was perpetually stuck like that. In the 'I will cut you' face. Which was near-constant.
But he still smiled now, because there was hope, and there wasn't too big a reason to worry. Just the fact the Earl was still out there, and this might've been his doing. But they would all be back together, and hey. Trying to be an optimist.
