Ansem was feeling the best he'd felt since his humiliating defeat at the hands of the Keyblade master as he made his way down to the great hall to meet his guest.

His guest was not there, however, and Ansem's temper kindled as he realised that stooge had, for no conceivable reason, led the mercenary down to the lower level. Everything on the lower level was classified. There were to be no strangers down there. Any fool would no that.

But apparently this one hadn't.

He supposed it was no great loss. Whether the mercenary agreed to work for him willingly or not, he would not be leaving these walls again but under Ansem's will.

When he reached the lower level and saw the signs of a struggle, the utter...disarray, and filth from out of doors that had gotten into his pristine laboratory, Ansem was immediately furious. Apparently a child's errand was too much responsibility for the scientist. And whoever was responsible for this mess was going to pay.

Turning a corner, he came upon an unusual sight: the unwanted jester sprawled out on the floor looking like a drowned rat, his spectacles askew as he glared at a strange shirtless man slumped half-dead against one wall.

This was unacceptable within his carefully-ordered domain. Completely unacceptable.

"Mr. Hojo!" Ansem growled. "What is the meaning of this?"

At this point the client's worries weren't his. If he was intending to betray Ansem then it would have already been in motion in his head. For now he was content and all his interests were seemingly being met. Left without those concerns he had no intention of ruining his reputation. Vicious didn't give a damn what Ansem thought of his name, names weren't all that important and this one was the that had managed to stick through years of life.

The mercenary took the blade from him and placed it back where it belong carefully checking to make sure that it would be an easy draw as necessary.

"I'll hold you to that...and I will be needing my own quarters."

Vicious didn't address whether or not there were places he could go or not. If Ansem felt it was necessary to tell him, he was sure he would. Otherwise to the mercenary they were free game if he needed to know.
