The One Who Turned the Snow White [Complete]
Character(s): Awayuki Himeno, Percival Fraulein and Hayate.
Content: Himeno wakes up after defeating the tree of Fenrir, finding herself still the White Prétear, and somewhere very strange.
Setting: Joutenheim Gate Area
Time: Afternoon
Warnings:Just don't call her a tulip-head. ;D
Leafé... it surrounded her... she was falling. She'd fed the Great Tree of Fenrir all the Leafé it could eat and it had destroyed it. Now it floated all around her, she noticed Takako, now freed from the tree, falling as well. She'd corrected her fall after taking Takako by the hands and floated downwards, but her power was diminishing... she was so tired. All went dark.
She awoke to a cool breeze and grass brushing against her cheek. Where... where was she? It took awhile to get the strength to even move. 'Come on Himeno!' she thought to herself, 'You need to make sure everyone is okay!'
Slowly she managed to convince herself into to push herself up into a sitting position, and found she was still the White Prétear, dressed in the poofy dress of white and pink, scalloped satin. So... she did it? She defeated the tree of Fenrir?
Slowly she rose to her feet, and grabbed the trunk of a close tree for support. She felt very weak. Looking around, Himeno was a bit at a loss. What happened? Where was she? Where... where was everyone?
"Hayate?" she called softly at first, "Hayate! Takako? Everyone?!"
Hearing no reply she staggered forward through the trees, stopping in shock when she saw a huge domed building before her that seemed to stretch on and on, and a large gate with a lineup of blonde haired people. Where was she? Had... had she died? Was this heaven? Wasn't heaven meant to have, like, clouds and stuff?
Not seeing many other options Himeno awkwardly joined the line, ignoring the odd stares, a little too busy trying to stay on her own two feet. Before she knew it she was being asked for her name, which she gave and was given some sort of small computer-pda-thing. Heaven has computers? None of this was making much sense to the weakened girl. She wandered numbly through the gate and gaped at the interior. Wow. Okay, maybe this was heaven... she hadn't seen anything like this before, but then again since when was heaven called 'Paixao'?
She started to wander into the city, but didn't get far before she stopped by a tree... a fake tree? Slumping down beneath it, her poofy dress pillowing around her, she felt a little better sitting down than standing up. She began to examine the device she'd been given, as it was her best first clue to figure out where she was, REALLY.

And calling her Tulip-Head. Ooo, she'd get him for that later when she found him! But... at least this meant he was alright. Although, part of his message puzzled her. Sasame... was gone, wasn't he? And she remembered rescuing Takako when the tree was destroyed. Oh well, she'd get to the bottom of it soon enough.
She had nothing else much to do now, but wait for a reply... and hope he'd find her soon.
Himeno jumped when her thoughts were interupted by a voice. Looking up she did a double-take. A ... knight? There were weirdly dressed people in this place, but this was different. A real, literial, knight in shining armor. Okay... this was weird.
"A party?" she questioned, a bit baffled at first, until it hit her. Right. She was still the Prétear. Oops.
She laughed awkwardly in spite of herself, "Oh ah... HA HA... My dress. Right, um... Well anyways, er... Is it that obvious?"
Himeno tilted her head a little, "You don't exactly look like the rest of the people I've seen either."

She glanced back at her journal, and was happy to see Hayate had answered her although... different times and places? Whoa... okay. That explained the knight before her. Glancing back up at him, she smiled again awkwardly.
"I don't usually dress like this... I'm just a normal highschool student from Japan," she explained, not half sure he'd even know what either were, but, oh well. He'd asked. "I'm... just also..." she trailed off as she pondered how to explain. "Um... I'm something called the Prétear," she finally just said.
"I... was saving everyone from the Tree of Fenrir... I hope.. I hope they're all alright..." she said, falling into talking to herself more than to the knight beside her, as her gaze turned distant and she pressed a gloved hand to the side of her head. She was feeling like she should have been passed out by now. "I wish I didn't feel so weak... I made so much leafé... that must be why," she reasoned.

Shifting against the tree a little more, resting her head back against it she spoke again, "Everything has something called leafé in it. The water, air, plants... pretty much everything. It's the source of all life and a Prétear protects it."
"But, there was someone who wanted to take it all away, which would plunge the world into empty darkness," she then said, keeping it simple. There was no reason to have to explain the Princess of Disaster any further than that. "They summoned a huge tree that would drain it, and it was up to me to stop it."
The seriousness fell from her face, and she grinned awkwardly, "And I did. I'm pretty sure. I was falling from it... that's about all I remember."
She touched a finger to her chin, "I don't think it could have brought me here though... Oh and my name is Awa.. er..." She realized if this man didn't know Japan, he might be confused by the reversed name. "Himeno Awayuki," she said after the slight pause.

She then laughed a bit. Knight in shining armor? Hayate? Or any of the leafé knights for that matter? The picture in her head that brought made her laugh a little more. "You're right. I wasn't by myself... I have seven knights who help and protect me, actually," she explained, wishing dearly they were all here. She really hoped they were all okay.
"I don't know if any of the others are here, but Hayate is. I found him on this journal thing," she said, turning her eyes back to it then blinking as she picked it up from her lap, "Oh hey! He replied me!"
She fiddled with the journal for a quick moment, tapping in a quick reply. She was relieved he really was here, enough that she probably wouldn't punch him for that whole Tulip-Head thing. This time. "Ah, he's apparently somewhere called Niflheim, but is going to come here, but it's going to be a few hours," she said dropping the journal back to her lap.
"I guess I'm going to have to wait for him... I don't think I can move," she said with yet another awkward smile, this whole thing was feeling very embarrassing and awkward for her, but she was in fact serious about it. She really didn't like playing this whole, 'damsel in distress' type thing. It wasn't her way at all, but she just didn't have the energy. She was greatful for Percival's company, however, he was helping a great deal to keep her 'with it'.

"Um..." she bit her lip for a moment, "I don't know... Station? So.. there's a train?" It looked like there was some long track-like thing running through the city, that could certainly seem to indicate a train. Would Hayate take the train? She wasn't really sure, and he hadn't said. At least, not yet.

"Yeah... It's best to just stay put," she agreed her eyes trailing back to the journal to check her messages again. It baffled her a bit too that they just gave it to her. These sort of things costed a fair bit where she came from, so just being given one was reaaaally weird to her.
"Eh...! That's odd... Hayate replied and says he'll be here shortly now. I guess he found a better way to get here," she said, glancing over the rest of his message then closing it, since if he was going to be here soon she could wait to ask him more questions. "I wonder how... " she murmured aloud in thought. Was he going to expend energy? She'd wanted to be truthful to him, but couldn't bring herself to tell him how much she wanted him to hurry. She didn't want to worry him, but maybe he was able to tell anyways? It seemed quite likely. Secretly she was glad though, it was getting harder and harder to keep her head up.

Hayate paused as he noticed what the Prétear was wearing. The Prétear he had found was the White Prétear. So, he had underestimated her.
The knight walked around the Prétear's dress before kneeling by her side. "I am glad you're safe."
The Knight also noted her companion, another sort of knight. With a curt nod, Hayate addressed him, "Thank you for staying with the Prétear."
It was only the company that made him refrain from the comment he was going to make. Namely, 'Even the White Prétear has limits, idiot'. Now the real question was how to remedy the situation...

The last she'd seen him, he was... so injured and laying in her arms. He'd protected her. It didn't matter this Hayate might have come from a different time. It was still Hayate.
As he came to her side, she tiredly looked up at him before she leaned over towards him, her arms stretching out to touch him... To make sure he was real. Fingers met the fabric of his uniform and gently clutched onto it. "Hayate... You're here. I'm so glad..." she murmured softly, tilting her head up to him to give him a thankful smile.

He settled for another more respectful nod at the knight, "Hayate, Leafe Knight of Wind."
Turning back to Himeno, he said quietly, "I'm glad you're here too." The knight couldn't help blushing as he gave Himeno one of his very rare, very small smiles.

She tightened her grip on his clothes as she realized what was happening. She'd been battling so hard against the effects of draining so much of her powers to defeat the tree with all that leafe, but she'd finally run out of strength.
"H-Hayate... I'm.. sorry... I can't... anymore... Hayate..." she spoke softly, almost whispering by the end as her eyes closed and darkness overtook her.
Her hand's grip on his clothes loosened, then fell away as she pitched forward towards her knight.

He glanced down at Himeno, who had tightened her grip on his uniform and had started murmuring, which he only caught a few words of. The Leafé Knight of Wind forced himself to manage to sit down and caught the Prétear rather less than gracefully as she fell against him.
The Knight hugged Himeno to him before shifting her in his arms as he silently berated himself. Protecting her? I haven't been protecting her if this is the result! The Wind Knight gently laid the Prétear down on the fake grass, his eyes shining as he cupped one hand to her cheek, brushing the pink locks with his thumb. Finally, the knight managed to say softly, "I'm a failure as a knight. Even if I don't want to admit it."
Hayate knew he would likely never live this down in front of the other knight, but there was only one way to wake a sleeping princess and he knew it, especially one with such a low level of leafé. The knight leaned over and kissed the Prétear with one simple, silent wish, Leafé. Bring back her smile once more. Drawing away from the kiss, he sat back and hoped.

Slowly her eyes lids fluttered after a moment and they revealed the red eyes beneath them. She blinked slowly as she registered who was above her.
"... H-Hayate?" she murmured softly. Glancing around for a moment she noticed the other knight was gone, and she was just alone now with her own knight. How long had she...?
Her gaze turned apologetic as she gazed up into Hayate's worried eyes, "I... I'm sorry." She felt somehow like she needed to apologise more. She was worrying him, and she didn't mean to.

He managed a small relieved smile, just barely touching his eyes when Himeno awoke and began to apologize. He helped her sit up and hugged her, "What are you apologizing for? I didn't say you did anything wrong. You're safe and I found you."
Releasing her from the sudden overprotective hug, he teased, "Although you seem to have forgotten that any Prétear has limits."
There was a pause as he reached out to take both of their journals from the ground, handing Himeno's to her before opening his own to glance at the map and the brochure he had tucked inside it.
"We have to decide where we're going to stay tonight; wherever we go, it's probably going to be a walk, as the train is a bit out-of-the-way of anything around here." He handed the Himeno the brochure to look at as he stood up, picking off a few of the low hanging leaves on the tree above them as a temporary source of money again.
"Shin will be disappointed with this city. There aren’t any real plants here."

"I... I... yeah," she replied softly, giving him a smile, before her eyebrow twitched a bit in mild annoyance. "Hey, I did just defeat the Tree of Fenrir," she huffed, before falling more silent. She had done it hadn't she?
It felt surreal. Once more she hoped everyone was alright. She didn't yet know if Hayate and Takako were okay. And... Sasame. How could she ever explain what happened to Sasame? Well, maybe he would forget about that. Maybe it would be best if he didn't know.
"Y-yeah, okay. We... can't exactly stay here can we?" she said with a softer smile as she accepted the journal back. She remained seated for now, not wanting to yet over exert herself.
"Yeah... he would be," she replied his odd comment, "... What kind of city has fake plants anyways?"
Shaking her head she glanced back up at him, "So, where to Hayate?" She hoped she could gain the strength to walk where ever they had to go, and that they wouldn't have to walk far.

He glanced down at the journal in his hand, as he had gathered what looked like enough leaves to use as cash. "Actua Are, N9 on the map. It's closest, but still a distance."
He glanced up at the sky, as the wind picked up, looking mildly displeased. "I hate to rush you, Himeno, but we're going to have to get moving."
The knight leaned down to help Himeno onto her feet.

She turned her head up to the "sky", her gaze turning worried as it seemed kind of like a ... storm was brewing? Irk.
Taking hold of Hayate's hands, she staggered up onto her feet, shakily. Managing to stay straight, she wrapped her arms around her knight's arm. She was going to need his strength a little longer. While she was gaining energy, it'd be awhile before she was her usual, energetic self.
"Alright Hayate... Let's go then!"
