Welcome to the NOT hotel California. [Complete!]
Character(s): Misha, Danny
Content: After meeting at Vanaheim, the Angel and the Ghost go to find a place to stay before looking for the mysterious Timon.
Setting: Actua Are f3
Time: Noonish
Warnings: Nothing as of yet.
The hotel was really something. It was lavish and decorative, full of paintings and pretty indoor plants. It was once Danny had walked up to the front desk did he realize he forgot one very important thing.
He had absolutly NO money.
It suddenly occured to him that there was no way that he wasn't sleeping in a box outside tonight. He looked at Misha who was standing beside him. He wondered for a moment if she had any money. Then he mentally slapped himself for thinking he was gonna make a girl pay his way in. That was seriously not cool.
He dug his hands around in his pocket for any spare change. All he found was a rumpled aqua hair ribbon and a note. He looked at it hard for a moment and put it back in his pocket. He let out a sigh.
Well... maybe the box will be comfortable?

She had carried her 'To-Heaven' box with her, looking as though walking around an unfamiliar city with a boy she had known for all of 20 minutes was absolutely okay with her.
no subject
No, those won't work... he thought, slightly annoyed.
He looked up at Misha's question. "Huh?: He walked over to her and examined the plant. "I don't know, that's relly wierd though." There WAS a striking absence of actual plant life, now that he thought about it.
"Maybe one of thoses plants is actually made of money?" He said comicly. If one was, that would settle the hotel rooms issue, without a doubt.
no subject
"Do you like it'su?"
She walked up to the front desk and beamed at the man behind the counter. "Hello'su!" she chirped. "May we have a room'su, please?"
The man, who looked identical to all the other blonde-haired, blue-eyed people walking around outside, merely looked at her. "Reservation?" he inquired.
"Umm... no'su?" the angel answered. She'd never gotten a hotel room before.
no subject
No, that wouldn't work either. Misha had already told them she didn't have one.
Suddenly he wanted to hit himself. Ghost Powers, duh....
He looked around the room for a place he could vanish in. He could just posess the clerk and give them a room that way. He wasn't going to tell Misha about his powers, even if she had told him her ...angel thing. He had only just met her, and the last time people found out, they got killed.
"Um, I've gotta use the bathroom." He said suddenly.
The clerk gave him a look and pointed. Danny nodded and ran off.
no subject
Maybe I should have asked'su Shia-chan how to do things like rent a room'su... she thought, rather after the fact considering she and her friends were in different worlds now.
Kotarou-kun... do you miss me'su?
no subject
After he placed his eyes back on the clerk he stood behind him and placed his right hand gently on his shoulder. The clerk looked startled for a moment until Danny dove inside him, taking complete control of him.
On the outside, the clerks eyes flashed green.
Danny soon took a hold of a registration card and began writing things down. He "ahemed" and deepened his voice, so to disguise it. "I just remembered we have a few rooms available to new people in the city. Would you and your friend like to take two of them?"
no subject
"Yes please'su," the angel said, beaming.
While the clerk filled out the logbook, the angel giggled a bit. "Mr. Clerk'su, did you know you have two souls'su?"
no subject
He about dropped them when he heard her say he had two souls.
How on earth did she know that? Unless she really WAS an angel, there was no other explanation. For a moment he stared at her in slight shock. Then he coughed. "Um, excuse me?" He asked finally, sounding completely unnerved.
no subject
When he looked surprised by her obesrvation, she looked up at him from her short stature, then nodded confidently. "Yes'su, you definitely have two! One is a light yellow'su! And one is green'su!"
no subject
Then another blink.
Finally, Danny managed, "Um, your welcome?"
He had almost lost the gruff he had put on his voice to disguise it. The fact that she was so accurate almost floored him. He wondered if she could sense things like that off of him when he was in his own body alone.
If she did she didn't say anything.
"Your room's are up the stairs..." Danny said. Once her back was turned, he quickly flew out of the clerks body and zipped back to the bathroom.
Once he landed his flushed the toilet and made his way outside. "I uh, wouldn't go in there for a while." He stated pointing behind him, feeling incredibly embarassed about actually making that comment.
no subject
Then she produced the room keys that the 'clerk' had given her. "Teeheehee! We have room'su, Danny-kun!" She didn't make any mention of the odd fact that the clerk had had two auras... or the fact that he currently only had one, once again.
"Can we go see the rooms please'su?" she said eagerly.
no subject
He smiled when she held out the room keys and pretended to look surprised when she exclaimed the 'clerk' had given them to her. He glanced over at the clerk and saw he was rubbing his head. He gave Danny an odd look and stared down at the registration card Danny had filled out, that was sitting on his desk. The clerk shrugged and filed it.
Mentally, breathing a sigh in relief he looked once again at Misha. "Awesome! Yeah, one's yours. You don't have to ask my permision..."
no subject
She practically bounced to the elevator and waved at him. "Come on'su!"

Once on the fourth floor, she hurried down the hall to find her room number. "Our rooms are next to each other'su," she called. "Hurry, Danny-kun!"
She tried to open her door with the key, but she was still carrying her box in her arms, and couldn't quite manage both. She dropped the key and almost the box, too!
"Oopsie'su," she said sheepishly.
no subject
He bent down to pick up the key she dropped and almost got bonked on the head by her box. A funny box that was anyways. Must be for all her Angel Gear or something.
He handed the Key back to Misha, "no problem." He then took his key and opened his room.
The room was beautiful on the inside. He appearently had totaly scored the jackpot when he randomly snatched two keys off the board earlier. There was a few shiny fake plants, the bed set looked hand carved. There was a bathroom that could fit a small party.
"Dude!"
no subject
Now she was eager to see her own room. This time she managed to get the door open without dropping anything. Her room was very similar, perhaps all the rooms on this floor looked alike? It was almost as big as her whole apartment that she shared with Shia-chan!
"We're going to stay here'su?"
no subject
Not that Danny had tried. Of course not. cough.
Danny followed Misha out of his room and stopped at her door frame. Her room was just like hers.
"Yeah I guess so. Since the clerk gave us the key and all. We're all checked in." A smile.
no subject
She poked at it lightly, but it was definitely not the bedroll mats like in her apartment, or even the low box-style bed that Kotarou-kun had. "It's fluffy'su..."
no subject
When he saw her look questionly at the beds he tilted his head a bit. "It looks pretty normal to me." He walked in a little bit, knowing full well it was rude to walk into a girls room unless it was Sam.
But Sam wasn't here. At all.
"Aren't they supposed to be 'fluffy', Misha?"
no subject
no subject
"Um actually, er, uh, I-aaahhhhh..." His incoherent thought was interrupted by a yawn. Which made sense, it hadn't exactly been the best of days for him. He couldn't remember the last time he was able to sleep.
Well, sleep that didn't come from being knocked unconsious anyways.
"Actually I think I'll go take a nap. I'm beat..."
no subject
Once he'd gone, she sat down on the edge of the bed. Suddenly it was very quiet, and she couldn't hear anything from either the adjoining rooms or outside. She went to the window and opened it, but there were no birds (which was strange, they'd always found her window before).
She returned to the bed, climbed up onto it, and put her head on the pillow, but she didn't feel tired. What was she supposed to do now? Usually at this time of day, she'd been watching Shia-chan clean and trying
and failingto help. But the room was already spotless.
"It's too quiet'su," she sighed. But there was really nothing to do until Danny came back after his nap.
no subject
The moment he was within inches of his bad he dropped. He didn't even bother with the covers. He hugged on of the pillows that his head rested on and clenched his eyes shut.
This had been far to much for him to deal with in one day. His parents were dead, he friends were dead, all to his doing. He was lost in a foriegn city, with no inkling as to how he got there. The only consolation, was the girl he had met here, who's hankerchief he still held in his pants pocket, next to his sisters hair ribbon.
He felt like crying again, and was sure a tear leaked out and fell down his cheek before exaustion completly won, and he fell asleep.
no subject
"Danny-kun?" she called softly, but again, there was no response.
She tried the door, but it was locked. Puzzled, since she'd assumed that being given a key meant the door would always open for them, she unfastened one of the bunnies from her hair and held it to the handle. "Bunny-chan, can you open this for me'su, please?"
And click! went the lock. After all, she'd never been shy about letting herself into Kotarou-kun's apartment. And Danny was a friend too!
She put her bunny back in her hair and made her way to the bed where Danny was sleeping, and peeked over the edge. She felt a little better, just watching him sleep.
no subject
He was lost in his own dreams, as could be seen from his somewhat fitful sleep. He tossed a little bit, and muttered quietly about nonsense like "Jazz" and "Ghosts".
no subject
Danny-kun misses his friend'su... just like I miss mine'su... the angel girl thought.
She climbed into the bed next to him and lay down. The mattress was so soft that it barely moved at all. Misha curled up in a little ball and pulled the hood of her pajamas down, so that only her nose and a bit of her pink hair peeked out. Since she and Shia-chan had often slept in the same bed, it felt good not to be alone while trying to sleep.
no subject
Coming inches from his face the monster whispered, "I am Inevitable.
Suddenly, as Danny was about to scream, the entire scene changed. It went dark, and then suddenly it went bright again. He was in his old room, sitting on his old bed.
Sam and Tucker were beside him and all three were comfortably watching an old movie.
on the outside, Danny had completely relaxed and all his incoherent babbling had ceased. Finally he was granted a deep peaceful rest.
no subject
Maybe... maybe one day Heaven'su will give me another chance'su...
In the meantime, she could make friends here, couldn't she? She had already made a friend with Timon-kun (even if she'd never seen him) and now Danny-kun as well. Maybe if she continued to act like a good angel here, Heaven would forgive her and she'd be allowed to see her friends tonight.
She glanced at Danny, but he was sleeping peacefully now with a smile on his face, and for that she was glad. "Have good'su dreams, Danny-kun..."
no subject
He let out a yawn and glanced at Misha sleeping beside him. Sleepily he moved some covers on her and got out of bed.
It was then he realised something was off.
WHY WAS MISHA IN HIS BED!!?!?!
He looked at his door and swore he had shut it. How did she get in??? He looked back at her and suddenly his face went beat red. That outfit was really cute on her.
This wild storm of emotions definatly made for some entertaining facial expressions on the outside.

Instead he settled for pacing in uneven circles around the room making several dramatic arm motions while his inner dialogue ravaged incoherently.
Suddenly, something unexpected happened. It was something that hadn't happened since he was still new to his powers. It happened everytime he got within seeing distance of Paulina.
His lower half went intangable, and his pants fell down.
no subject
He looked kind of funny standing there. And for some reason, his pants were around his ankles. "Teeheehee..."
no subject
He quickly turned around and opted to stare at the room's door instead.
"Hahaha....erm, I havnt ate in days, My pants got to big." He made up quickly, his compulsive lying skillz kicking in.
no subject
She found that she was covered up, although she didn't remember getting under the blankets. "I was lonely'su," she said, ducking her head a bit. "I'm sorry that I came in here'su without asking you, Danny-kun..."
no subject
He turned back around and saw her duck her head. He felt a little bad about freaking out like he did....even if it WAS a tad...wierd.
"oh...it, uh, okay. Maybe we should find something to eat?" He proposed quickly changing the subject. While he was added he reminded Misha, "And you need to find Timon too, right?"
no subject
She thought about it, and then said, "I think I'm hungry'su too..." Actually, she couldn't remember the last time she'd eaten. Probably the bento Shia-chan had packed for her before the demon had disappeared, which was even before Misha herself had disappeared, so in all likelihood, it had been a few days.
no subject
If worse came to worse, Danny could fake food poisoning or possess the waiter, as much as he hated stealing like that, he saw no alternative.
no subject
She patted her pockets, but the map and her journal weren't in her pajamas. So she bounced off the bed and headed for the door, looking quite eerily LIKE a bunny, hopping around. "I'll go get my journal'su!" she called.
no subject
He nodded when she took off to get her journal. That suddenly gave him an idea.
He took his off the nightstand by his bed and opened it up. He scanned through its features, discovering the message board system. Well, there was their problem solved. They could just make a post on the message board about Timon. Surely Him or someone who knows him would see it.
He closed his journal back up and waited for Misha to get back.
no subject
no subject
He tilted his head. "Your gonna go eat in your pajamas?"
no subject
She looked down at herself, seeming to realize she was still wearing them. "Teeheehee," she giggled. "No'su! Oopsie..."
And she began to pull them off.
no subject
He jumped off the bed and gently stopped her from pulling her outfit all the way off.
"WHOA!! Hold on Misha!! Maybe you should go, uh, change in your room? Theres more privacy there!" He studdered out quickly.
He subtly grabbed the top of his pants to keep them from falling down again.
no subject
"Umm... okay'su," she answered, slightly bewildered, and headed for her room.
no subject
That was way too close.
But seriously, what was up with that? You'd think there would be a little more modesty, what with her being an Angel and all. He shook his head ad went back to his journal.
