"Okay'su," Misha answered, not seeming to notice his reaction to her innocent invitation. "That's a good idea'su," she added. "I'll see you later'su, Danny-kun!"

Once he'd gone, she sat down on the edge of the bed. Suddenly it was very quiet, and she couldn't hear anything from either the adjoining rooms or outside. She went to the window and opened it, but there were no birds (which was strange, they'd always found her window before).

She returned to the bed, climbed up onto it, and put her head on the pillow, but she didn't feel tired. What was she supposed to do now? Usually at this time of day, she'd been watching Shia-chan clean and trying and failing to help.

But the room was already spotless.

"It's too quiet'su," she sighed. But there was really nothing to do until Danny came back after his nap.
