Doesn't Everyone Have a Hero? [Completed]

Character(s): Roxas
Content: The blonde Nobody has been sitting around for a while, exploring a new piece of technology given to him by a certain Nobody. And in short, the following is a summary of a day after the meeting with Sora and Saix.
Setting: In an alley near Niflheim.
Time: From nighttime to early morning.
Warnings: It's Roxas.

This was... interesting.
In all honestly, it really was.

Roxas gave a short sigh, and sat down on the ground of the alley once more.

For the past one or two days, he's just been sitting in the same area, musing and sleeping, avoiding opening the device the Seventh, Saix, had given him. He was looking ragged, and definitely dirty. And hungry. The boy put a hand on his stomach as it omitted a rumble of a sort. Things weren't looking too great-- no one was going to come around to help him if he just sat around.

But it should be known that even if Roxas sat down here for more than most people normally would, it wasn't because he was hopeless and weak. No, the Nobody strongly believed that he had every mean to stay alive in Paixao. He felt considerably stronger than right after his fight with Sora. Definitely strong enough to pull around his own weight and/or find some way to survive. It was just that it felt almost... necessary to sit around.

It felt like someone was supposed to come. Only, he or she did not come yet.

Well anyhow... it was around time that he did something, even if it was stupid.

He clicked open the small rectangular object, then turned it on. He had to admit, the Organization's Fourth appeared to have spent a great deal of time and effort on it. Hrmph. Then again, that was even more of a reason to suspect that the Organization was using this device as a way to keep a tap on him... Which was highly possible. Either way that was no reason to stop from communicating with others who could help him temporarily. The situation was rather desperate anyhow...

There was a slight hum as the screen light up. It appeared there were several options available on this device. A map that was almost identical to the brochure that he had picked up upon his arrival at Muspelheim was there, along with the option to post in various places in the "cyber-world", and finally, a method to talk to individuals through typing out letters.

Not too shabby at all.
Maybe in a couple moments or so he would take the time to talk to someone...

Right now, even if sleeping on the ground in the position he was currently was an embarrassment, the boy's eyes were beginning to droop. It couldn't be helped. Or at least even if it could be, there was no energy on behalf of Roxas to go against it. Plus, there was nothing of interest around at the moment.

He was sinking in a deep turquoise ocean, or some other body of water, it was hard to tell. He felt his clothing rippling in a synchronized movement with the water. Even though the blonde boy was sinking, the way he was doing so was tranquil and calming. Almost. Not quite. It felt like there was a knot inside his chest. Maybe it was a type of pain that didn't mean too much-- the type of pain that was a strange hybrid of both suffering yet appropriate. Describing it was difficult.

Before Roxas reached the bottom on the water, he woke up sweating. "Ugh..." The boy leaned forward to hug his knees for several moments, and then leaned back to wipe off some of the sweat. Man, sometime soon he was going to need a bath or at least a dunk in a real body of water. His eyes were duller than before the dream... It was a dream right? It couldn't have been a memory... He didn't have any substantial memories.

Still, even with thoughts like these, Roxas didn't sigh. He just wasn't that type of person. To him, sighs showed the heart of an individual-- what made that person, well, alive. Roxas considered himself almost as good as dead. There was no heart to make his time go slower or faster, boring or exciting. Not really anyway. Everything he thought he felt: it was just an illusion.

Roxas's stomach growled again. Evidently, he slightly blushed, even with no one around. Off to find something to eat... Within moments, the Nobody moved out of the alley and could not be seen.
