Saitou narrows his eyes as Kenshin speaks. As improbable as it may sound, time travel might just be the answer to the misunderstanding. Saitou looks at Kenshin from the corner of his eyes when the Battousai falls silent and frowns at a certain thought. It is not rare to see the redhead making that face. His conscience disturbs him.

It is something that Saitou would love to laugh at him for, if not for the fact that his resolve is admirable. Saitou smirks at Kenshin's final statement, "I wasn't telling you too."

Tapping the ash from his cigarette before putting it back on his lips, Saitou pushes himself off the pillar to turn away from Kenshin.
