The Lion and the Lamb [active]
Character(s): Kasugami, Leon
Content: Entering Paixao, I am a sheep.
Setting: Joutenheim
Time: HIGH NOON
Warnings: None, right now. Don't make me bump it up, Weon ):
To say that Kasugami was lazy was irreverent, offensive and rude. It was also probably close to the mark. Moreso she was a slave to her whims and enjoyed feeling good over all other things in life. Probably indulgent was a good word to describe her as well. For all of the sins to be indulgent in was that of drinking. Not that drinking is a sin in and of itself, of course. However, the amount of alcohol that one consumes in ratio to their bodyweight and rather in ratio to the average amount of alcohol others of their bodyweight also consume... To say the least, Kasugami had gotten very very drunk the other night.
Now, to put this in perspective. Kasugami can drink twice of her bodyweight rather easy. (Bodyweight being a relevant term as her exact mass and weight is subject to whim). Typically a long drinking session ends with the god laying on her back in a bed of stars and wondering (for a brief moment) where she was. Usually this questioning was answered rather quickly and she was up and wandering off again.
Today Kasugami woke up with that deliciously hung over feeling (the advantage to being a god was that the hangover was quite not that painful). She also woke up with fingers. Not the oddest thing in the world but usually she's a sheep. A drunken traveler sheep. Today she was none of the above and it was a bit of a displaced feeling. A hand reaching over her shoulder assured her that her gourd (ever-full) was present. Well, she was always up for new experiences. Squaring her shoulders, Kasugami stood and headed for what looked like civilization. And where there was civilization there was a bar. Er. Directions and knowledge. Yes. Of course.
The gatekeeper of Joutenheim was pleasantly surprised when a sheep-person-thing-mix walked up to him and asked where the nearest bar was. Or tavern, really. He got over that shock fairly well and grabbed an item, flicking it open to show her where the map was and indeed there was a most established and wonderful house of alcohol on there. Then he asked for her name.
"Kasugami, like so." She traced the kanji in the air as he took down her name. Map in hand Kasugami headed off in search of The Cheap Prayer or possibly that Ginger place. Either looked good, maybe she'd hit both today before the sun set.
