In Progress
Character(s): Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric
Content: The pair finally get a room and can be ALLLLOOOOONNNNNEEEEE :P
Setting: Actua Are [N9}
Time: Late night, early morning
Warnings: none for now.
After Ed had put on the message to Marona and Karst where they were, Al waved him over with the key to their room. Exhausted, hurting, and not in the mood for anymore chaos, the elder Elric collected his bag and careully walked to where his brother was, only sparing a small wave to the growing crowd of noise. He followed the suit of armor with little thought to the smallish room with a single bed. There were a couple extra blankets and a chair with a writing desk in one corner.
Edward couldn't stiffle the huge yawn as he walked through the door, dropping his bag on the floor and the journal on top of it. It wasn't much, but it was a room. He gingerly sat on the bed and looked up to Al. "Well...alone at last. No squeaking little rodent, no loud mouthed...whatever they are," he waved his left arm haphazardly.

He stepped next to the bed and sat down on the floor, leaning back against the wall with a few creaks and a hollow thump. The helmet turns to meet his brother's golden eyes with a soul-bright glow. "Are you alright? You should try and get some rest..."

Ed rumaged through his bag, pulled out the small oiling can and shrugs out of his coat and long sleeved shirt, showing the automail underneath. He starts examining the finger joints, oiling where needed. "Once I relax a bit, I'll get some sleep, Al. We should plan on examining the library that's in this ciry. Maybe there'll be some more information we can use to find our way home."

He lifted his head back to watch his brother trying to adjust his automail. "Maybe we should find a mechanic too, just in case. Winry would wrench us both if something happened to your automail again."

Once the arm was done, he goes on to making certain that the joints in his leg automail was in better working order than before. He makes a slightly pained sound as he threw his leg up on the bed, enjoying the small relief of not having gravity pull on the partial bone.

If Alphonse could offer a comforting smile he would. He turned back to the journal, poking around in an attempt to get used to how it works. "Winry won't know what to do with herself then!"

"Maybe there's some history here, about others in the past who were trapped, and maybe they got out." He turned his head so he could look at Al. "Maybe there's even something else here that can help us get your body back. I got messages back from Karst and Marona. They're on the other side of the city, so we'll have to meet up with them later."

He nodded quietly to his brother's words, deciding to post a message seeking a mechanic before anything gets worse. "Shouldn't fall asleep with your tummy out, Brother. You'll catch a cold.."

With a grunt, he yanked his duster up and covered his middle with it. Ed grumped a little with little energy behind it. "There. Happy?" But he smiled inwardly. Their mom always told him that, and it's almost a game to see what Al would say that was motherly.
