This doesn't look like Heaven'su... [Complete]
Character(s): Misha, Danny Fenton
Content: Misha's arrival in Paixao
Setting: Vanaheim, F3, Actua Are
Time: Morning
Warnings: None
She had been laying down in what should have been a field, except the grass seemed very strange and unreal. Her hands brushed over it and she thought it felt rather uncannily like cloth. Cloth?
She wasn't at home with Shia-chan and Kotarou-kun, and she wasn't back in Heaven either. For a moment she was worried... was Shia-chan okay?
Was this what it meant to 'disappear'? To go to a place where you didn't know anybody and nobody knew you?
The apprentice angel's lower lip trembled. Already she missed her friends terribly, and she didn't know how to get back, or if she was even allowed to return.
She began to get to her feet but tripped on something. Looking down, she noticed that her 'To-Heaven' box had been spilled across the ground, several of her belongings resting in the not-grass. "Oh-no'su!" she exclaimed, kneeling down to scoop everything back into the box.
"Why'su is this here?" she wondered aloud. She hadn't had it with her when she'd disappeared. Maybe Sacchun had dropped it off? Her heart beat a little faster. Would she ever see her sister again? Or any of her friends in Heaven? Or any of her friends on Earth?
Misha folded the top of her 'To-Heaven' box closed again and noticed a line of people. Maybe they'd know something? Wrapping her arms around her box and making sure her wings were hidden, she walked forward towards the line.
"Excuse me'su," she said, tugging at someone's arm, "Where is this'su? Did you disappear'su too?"
The person brushed her off, looking irritated.
"NEXT!" was bellowed from the front of the line, and Misha jumped, spilling things out of her 'To-Heaven' box again.
"Oh-no'su, oh-no'su," she flailed, which made more things come flying out of the box. Flail, drop, flail, drop! Misha put the box on the ground and began scooping things back into it again -- the line simply formed around her. "I'm so clumsy'su! Sacchun was right'su..."
She tugged her possessions out from under people's feet, not noticing that she was being carried along with the line as well. Suddenly she heard "NEXT!" again and looked up, right into the face of a stranger. "Eeeeek!" she cried, falling back.
"Name?" The person asked.
"Ummm... Misha. My name'su Misha." The apprentice angel wasn't sure what to do, but the person merely handed her a small book and then shooed her inside, calling instructions about a map and a journal.
The pink-haired girl quickly got out of the way of the gate where the line passed through, finding a patch of grass -- well, cloth-grass, but it was comfortable to sit on -- and drew her knees up to her chest to think. Maybe if she watched the people here, she'd gain an understanding of where she was. Who were all these people? This didn't seem like disappearing to her...

He eventually just stopped by a wall a few yards from the gate and leaned up against it. Unable to rid the replaying images of the explosion, he slid heavily down the bricks and gathered himself into a ball with his head down and his hand gripped onto his hair. It was finally sinking in.
They were all gone, and he had let it happen.

She got to her feet and walked over to him, her soft white boots making no noise on the unusual grass. She knelt down in front of him. "Hello'su," she said kindly. "Are you okay'su?"
no subject
The origin of the voice was a young girl that looked somewhere around his age with....pink hair. She asked him sweetly if he was okay. Danny looked away from her and wiped his eyes. Not good to let a girl see you cry.
He replied, in the calmist voice he could manage, "Yeah...I'm fine."
no subject
She offered it to him. "Here'su."
no subject
He looked down at the hankerchief that she offered and took it shakily. He stared down at it and muttered, "Thanks."
no subject
She glanced at the people trickling through the gate and then back at the boy. Maybe he'd come through just a little while ago, like herself?
"Are you lost'su?" she asked.
no subject
At her question he glanced up, not at her but ahead of him and replied, "I have no idea where I am, other than it's some place called...Pie-Zow." He folded his arms on his knees and continued, "I...just woke up on the other side of the gate......."
no subject
She sat down on the grass next to him. "My name is Misha'su," she said. "What's your'su?"
no subject
He glanced up when she spoke again. Misha? It was a cute name. "Danny." He answered for her.
Then suddenly he noticed something. What was with the "Su" at the end of her sentences? Her name sounded Japanese, maybe it was a culteral thing.

He looked down at the clunk of technology he had set roughly down on the ground next to him. He mentally slapped himself for being so rough with it. He picked it up and opened the cover.
"Yeah, I did." He answered. "I can't believe they just gave them away....they look expensive."
no subject
"Is that how you say this name'su?" she inquired, and sounded it out, "Pie-shao'su..."
no subject
Wait. Where was his? He groaned when he realized he must have dropped it somewhere. He ran his fingers through he messy hair annoyed at this. He appearently was messing things up all over the place today.
"I ..didn't talk to them, I guess wasn't really paying attention." He glanced down at the journal again. "Yeah, I think thats how they said it. It sounds....eh, Chinese or something."
no subject
And before he could say a word, she bounced to her feet and hurried over to the gate, leaving her cardboard box on the ground next to him.
no subject
He averted his eyes instead to the cardboard box she had left beside him. With a burning curiosity he peeked inside. The box held several random objects, most of which he really couldn't identify. He felt the urge to reach in and grab one but he restrained himself.
This girl was being so great to him, going through her things was not a way to repay her.
Still...Danny had lightly set his hand on the side of the box.
no subject
"Danny-kun," she said curiously, "were you sad'su because you don't know where your friends are'su?"
no subject
When she said his name again he looked back up with a "Hm?" When she asked him that question, whatever emotional reprieve he was feeling from Misha's presence was instintly swept away. He shut his eyes and turned his head from her again.
"No...I know where they are." He said vaguely. He glanced briefly at the sky so to give her an idea of what he ment.

But, that still didn't change the fact that he had let it happen. They were gone because of him.
"Yeah, it is." He admitted. He really liked the idea of them in Heaven. "But, what does that make this?" He continued, "Some twisted version of Hell?"
He stopped for a moment and thought on his own words. He suddenly felt reeealy scumy. "Forget that. You wouldn't be here if this was Hell. You've been way to good to me."
no subject
She didn't really appear to breathe when she got going like that.
"... I've never actually been to Hell'su, but Shia-chan has! That's where she's from'su!"
no subject
"You know someone who's been to Hell? You sure they uh, weren't just joking?"
no subject
She appeared to consider something, then added with another smile, "I don't think Shia-chan told many joke'su..."
no subject
Maybe she was talking about that town in Michigan or something.

This was definatly out there, even for someone who's traveled in alternate deminsions and timelines before. The idea of Heaven itself seemed far to good to be true, especially someone who's been into a spiritual realm full of vengeful ghosts.
no subject
"Teeheehee," the apprentice angel giggled, finding Danny's reaction very funny, "Danny-kun, there's only one Heaven'su."
no subject
How do you really react to that?
Danny guessed the same way you react to the Ghost Zone. "So....what, are you an Angel?"
no subject
Misha beamed when Danny guessed she was an angel. Maybe that meant that, even though she'd been dismissed from the angel exam, she was still an apprentice? "Yes'su!"
[OOC: Sorry my responses are slow, my email server is down so I'm not getting any LJ alerts.]

"Oh," This was all a little wierd to him. Mostly because she was so BROAD with it. You'd think you would want to keep something like that to yourself. People could get a lot of wrong ideas.
People could do a lot of wrong things. His parents enthusuasm with disecting ectoplasmic entities had scared HIM out of ever telling them he was as otherworldly as the girl in front of him. "No wings?" He asked curiously.
((ooc: XD Don't worry. My e-mial waits till almost a half an hour to give me my responses))
no subject
"Where are you going now'su?" she asked, pointing to the map she'd given him. "Timon-kun said there's hotels and places you can stay'su..."
no subject
"Um, I don't know." Danny opened up the map again. His eyes scanned for their current location. He distinctivly remembered seeing a sign that said 'Vanaheim'.
"I think theres a Hotel around here." He said pointing at the map.
no subject
And without warning, she glomped him. :)
no subject
"Are you leaving?" He asked, after a moment.
no subject
She picked up his journal and held it out to him. "Timon-kun says, you can talk to other people'su, using these journals. Maybe we can talk to each other again'su, Danny-kun?"
no subject
He then took the journal the pink haired girl held out to him. Glancing down at it, he pulled up the Paixao City map again and pin pointed the hotel. He looked back up at Misha. "So I guess I'll see you around then?"
no subject
no subject
"Well...I could come with you? Since this Timon seems to know more about the city maybe I could ask him a few things?" He looked away a little embarrased. "Thats if you don't mind, of course."
((ooc: and if you don't mind of course XD. If you do, then its no problem))
no subject
Misha blinked, and blinked again, and then broke out into a big beaming smile. "Okay'su, Danny-kun! We can go together'su! It'll be like a trip'su, right?"
no subject
((ooc: XD okay. so do we close this thread up then?)
