stoic lapine: It is me.

bunnyxfetish: That's not particularly helpful.

bunnyxfetish: ... a name might be nice.

stoic lapine: Fran.

bunnyxfetish: Fran! Where are you? Please tell me you have The Strahl with you...

stoic lapine: No, I do not.

stoic lapine: I am in... Paixao.

bunnyxfetish: Ah, so this land of little electronic journals has a name. A horribly ugly name, but a name nevertheless... and you've no idea where the ship is?

stoic lapine: No, I do not. I simply awoke and was here. No information I have receive has been useful.

bunnyxfetish: ...well, that's frustrating. Any idea where in the city you are, at least? I've just started looking for you and a little direction would be most helpful.

stoic lapine: I have not strayed far from the gate.

bunnyxfetish: Hmm, that's odd. Neither have I, and I don't see you anywhere. What else do you see?

stoic lapine: ...Buildings. Many blond and blue eyed individuals.

bunnyxfetish: ... buildings and fair-looking humes. Again, not particularly helpful. But seriously, I don't see many people that fit that description around here... you're at Muspelheim, correct?

stoic lapine: ...No. Another name.

bunnyxfetish: Ah, that would explain it. What's the name of your gate?

stoic lapine: Joutenheim.

bunnyxfetish: Alright, then. I haven't really had time to study these devices yet, Fran... do you happen to know if are there maps in here somewhere, or must I find a map?

stoic lapine: There is a map.

bunnyxfetish: In this device, you mean?

stoic lapine: Yes.

bunnyxfetish: Fair enough, shouldn't be too hard to... ah, here we go! I've got the map pulled up now, and it shouldn't be very long at all before the leading man comes to find you and whisks you away from this horrifically-named city!

stoic lapine: I have not seen a way out. There is no way to get past the gates once you are in. And there are domes...

bunnyxfetish: Yes, yes, I've noticed. A minor obstacle in the plot. If there's a way in then there's got to be a way out, hasn't there?

stoic lapine: I have a feeling it may not work like that this time.

bunnyxfetish: Oh, really? You get that bad of a feeling about this place, do you?

stoic lapine: I do.

bunnyxfetish: Well, that's not very comforting to hear, especially coming from you, Fran. But you've forgotten one thing.

stoic lapine: What?

bunnyxfetish: I'm the leading man, and that means I always succeed in the end. The more impossible the feat, the better story it makes after it's all over with!

bunnyxfetish: ... you're not convinced, are you?

stoic lapine: No.

bunnyxfetish: Ah, well. I can always work on convincing you after I find you... this city is much larger than this map lets on. I may have to take a train. You haven't moved, have you?

stoic lapine: No, I haven't.

bunnyxfetish: So you're still at Joutenheim, good. There should be a train station closeby according to the map, do you see it?

stoic lapine: Yes. The train goes to all gates.

bunnyxfetish: Yes, I see that. I just wanted to make sure that you were close to the station so that I'd be able to find you easily when I arrived.

bunnyxfetish: Which was stupid of me, actually, you're probably one of the only viera in this entire city from what I've seen so far, if not the only one.

stoic lapine: So far, all I have seen are humes.

stoic lapine: I think they are not used to my kind. They seem frightened.

bunnyxfetish: Now that you mention it, I've only seen humes here as well... not a single seeq or bangaa. Don't be concerned with their fear, though, Fran, it's their own loss if they're foolish enough to be scared of you.

bunnyxfetish: ... you don't have your bow with you, do you? If so, that may be it.

stoic lapine: I have the bow.

stoic lapine: Their fear is no concern of mine, however. If anything, it will clear the path to you that much quicker.

bunnyxfetish: Ah. Well, some people do consider walking around armed rather intimidating.

bunnyxfetish: I'm actually glad you have it, though, now that I think on it. It'll keep people staring at your weapon rather than you, which would be a very good thing if they're not used to seeing viera...

stoic lapine: Perhaps you are concerned they would stare at me for some other reason besides the bow or what I am.

bunnyxfetish: ... I don't want anyone giving you any trouble, Fran. It would be very unfortunate if I were forced to kill someone my first day here without even knowing how the law system works yet.

stoic lapine: No one will give me trouble.

bunnyxfetish: I should hope not, but I don't know this city well enough to trust it just yet. I know you're completely capable of defending yourself should the need arise, but I would still feel much better with the two of us travelling together.

stoic lapine: You know I agree. I suspect you are becoming a bit paranoid, Balthier.

bunnyxfetish: Yes, well, your comment earlier about having a bad feeling didn't help in the least. Let us just hope for both our sakes that it's groundless paranoia.

stoic lapine: It hardly seems dangerous here, but....

bunnyxfetish: But we still have absolutely no clue about where The Strahl is, nor where we are or how to get anywhere at all that we recognize.

stoic lapine: I still do not understand how or why are are here.

bunnyxfetish: Nor do I, Fran, nor do I. Not in the slightest. But that's behind us now, isn't it? And what's in front of us is finding a way out!

stoic lapine: I suppose.

stoic lapine: Perhaps we should get to meeting soon.

bunnyxfetish: I'm on the train as I type, but it seems to be moving about half as fast as Archadian transportation...

bunnyxfetish: But I hadn't considered whether this thing runs on batteries... perhaps I should turn it off for now.

bunnyxfetish: I'll be there as fast as this damned thing will take me, alright?

stoic lapine: That might be a good idea. See you soon.
