once a king or queen in paixao, always a... wait, what? [ complete ]
Character(s): Fai D. Flowright.
Content: A somewhat confused Fai finds himself inNarnia Paixao a second time. Chronologically, he arrives after leaving the Piffle World.
Setting: Vanaheim Gate.
Time: Morning.
Warnings: None.
So, had the world of Paixao been a pit-stop, or what? Fai was starting to get a little tired of it, really.
It wasn't like the wizard wasn't used to being displaced when crossing from one world to the next; after all, he and Kuro-pon had once arrived in a world long before their younger travelling companions, Syaoran and Sakura. This, however, was different. And it wasn't a nice, refreshing different. It was troublesome, and for once the man who always seemed to smile seemed to have a frown plastered on his face. Something didn't sit right.
Mokona hadn't brought them to this world. He had been wrong to assume that the first time around; this was happening at random, not just to him, but to so many others from every world there could possibly be. And Fai had met them, and interacted with them. How had he not noticed before?
Fai tapped a slender, bony finger against his chin and hmm'ed thoughtfully. This couldn't just be coincidence, to have happened twice. Wherever this world was - whatever this world was - it was here for a reason. He was almost certain that he wouldn't be able to completely leave it until he found out what the reason was. Well, put that on the to-do list, he thought idly, and once again admired the handiwork of whoever made those gates.
First on the list, however, was finding the others. Sakura in particular. He stretched languidly, like a cat who'd just taken a long nap and, if only to shut them up, was now going to chase after a toy mouse his figurative "masters" had thrown at him. That's what this world was, in a sense. Fai vaguely remembered what he had to do and, before passing through the massive gates, made his way over to the mindless man waiting before them.
"Your name, sir?" It asked, as Fai draped his arms over the stand separating them and stared down at a list of other names. He couldn't make sense of their language.
And then he remembered that, when he first arrived, he hadn't left a name. He left a little doodle. A cute little doodle, in his opinion. Oh, hold that thought: he needed one of those handy little journals they'd given him the last time.
Fai smiled lazily to himself, picked up the man's pen without permission, and drew a new doodle that took up three lines instead of one.

"There you go!" He trilled and, after taking a particularly shiny silver gadget, strolled casually through the gates of Vanaheim.
Now, if only he could say it was good to be back.
