Now what? [Completed]
Character(s): Dipp, Kinoko, Naminé
Content: Suddenly, it's just the three of them.
Setting: Actua Are
Time: Afternoon-evening
Warnings: None.
She was still having trouble sorting out the details herself. With the appearance of Dipp and Kinoko (Was that their names? Oh no, she hoped she hadn't forgotten them already.) and Kyo's decision to go look for Tohru, things had gotten pretty hectic. She didn't even know where the fox boy had gone. She had gone to check on him, thinking he was sleeping under Riku's coat, but when she lifted the fabric she found he had disappeared. He must have left when Kyo did. The thought scared her somewhat. She hadn't known the fox boy for long, but he seemed even less capable of protecting himself than she was. She hoped he would be all right.
In any case, it was just the three of them left in the room now. Naminé was sitting on the bed, anxiously folding and unfolding Riku's coat. She had wanted to get it off the ground, but once it was in her lap she didn't know what to do with it. It only made her more aware that Riku and Sora were somewhere out there with those nobodies. She knew she had no right to be worried for them--she wasn't supposed to know them after all--but she was worried all the same.
Despite this seeming preoccupation with the coat, Naminé was aware of the two other people in the room. She just didn't know what to say to them. Finally, she ventured a question. "Do you know where Riku is right now?" A part of her was worried, since Dipp had not mentioned Sora, that Sora was now separated from Riku. She was sure that Sora and Riku could take care of themselves, but somehow she would have felt better knowing they were both together.
Suddenly she stood up and turned to the window. The coat slid off her lap to the ground. "I--I can't hear it anymore," she said, astonished.

But then the blonde went to the window, and out of curiousity, Dipp moved off the door and approached the window with a furrowed brow. Letting his pale eyes skim across the ground outside, he pressed a hand against the sill. "I don't either..."

"...it's...quiet..." Kinoko offered very quietly herself. She didn't have anything else to say.

However, there were more important things to attend to at that moment. "Do you think they're gone?" she asked, still a bit aprehensive. Had the attacks really stopped? It could have been that they had just ki... kil... no, she couldn't think of what they had done. There had to be some people still safe, didn't there? Please, there had to be. Maybe the attacks wre just over. She wasn't about to suggest that they just go out and look for themselves, but they couldn't stay in this hotel room forever, could they?

"Other people are obviously being smart enough to stay indoors," he was thinking about survivors as well. There had to be, not everyone was a complete idiot... and a lot of them had to of been able to fight back against the creatures.

Kinoko didn't like it here. She wanted to go home. Well, maybe not go home because she wasn't sure she liked it there too. But being here all around where people were crazy and trying to beat them. Kinoko didn't like it here.

She noticed that Riku's coat was still on the ground. She picked it up and, deciding it was best not to begin her nervous folding again, laid it on the bed in a heap. The black fabric both comforted and frightened her, with it's similarities to the Organization's coats. They had been all she had ever known, ever since she was "born." Still, she wasn't in any hurry to go back to them. But it was only a matter of time.
It was only a matter of time before they came to find her. Her eyes widened, and she looked back over at Dipp and Kinoko. She didn't want those two to be involved should the organization try to find her. They were innocent. She had to get away, somehow. Especially since she couldn't let Sora and Riku get too close to her. She had to leave before they came back.
She dismissed the horrible feeling in her chest. She shouldn't have feelings anyway.
