Some people call him lucky to be surviving so many battles and disasters, but he really would like to disagree. For one, having one's foot jammed under a million tonnes of rubble is not a nice feeling when one is still alive. And another, one needs to smoke when one is alive, and it is not a nice feeling to be running out of cigarettes either. Also, it seems that having his head bashed made him call himself 'one' like a certain red-headed battousai does. How awful.

Saitou takes another drag from his cigarette, gingerly shifting a little to give his broken left arm some space. He has been sitting here for quite some time now. While he is conveniently hidden from the strange white creatures, he is also hidden from any passerby who might help him. He can call out, sure, but he won't.

He can get out and go to a hospital himself. Saitou will do that once he finishes this one cigarette, or two. That is none of your business.

Gayle frowns when he gasps at the pressure on his lower ribs. She watches him breathe for a moment. It seems normal, which is a good thing even though broken ribs take a while to heal.

He closes his eyes while they carry him. He's a bit heavy and both Michael and Gayle are happy that David was there. An extra arm helps quite a bit.

Gayle sighed when they got to the rickshaws, getting into one. Michael climbed into the other to help David lift the man into the seat. When he's seated next to Michael, David goes to join Gayle.

He leans over to the driver, "As fast as you can to Aiches Memorial. But take the path with the least amount of rubble out of Niflheim. It will be better if we have a smooth ride."

Hey, what's your name?

Michael is a bit startled at the man's croak, since he hasn't talked the whole time previously. "Michael. What's your name?" He pauses long enough for the man to answer. "We will be at the hospital shortly. It's different from most around here. Gayle doesn't like them much. I think you'll be fine there."
