we all cry for our own reasons [complete]

Character(s): Loz, The Corinthian, Desire, and any other character around
Content: Loz wakes up in Paixao, confused, and slightly upset.
Setting: Muspelheim Gate to Cafe Ersesat [N3]
Time: Early afternoon
Warnings: N/A (so far)

It took a while for Loz to realize that he'd been knocked out. Wait. Was it his eldest brother that knocked him out? The muscular man stumbled to his feet and looked around: there wasn't anyone he knew here. In fact, this wasn't where he was supposed to be. What? Where was this? Where here his brothers? Loz straightened himself out.

Realizing that Kadaj and Yazoo were nowhere nearby, there was no reunion currently taking place, and that Mother was probably nowhere close either, Loz did the most mature thing to do-- He tilted his head downward and held back possible signs of tears.

What was he supposed to do now? At least he had the materia...

Carrying the chest of materia, he headed toward a line of people: maybe one or two of them had seen his brothers. "See any silver-haired guys? Or Mother?" Loz asked hopefully, politely as he possibly could (which took much effort) without directing the question at anyone in particular. At times like this, any witness of his entrance would have compared it to a child who lost his source of confidence. Quickly, a blonde-haired man retorted, "Just go to the end of the line, young man." Reluctantly, he did as the man said and moved to the back of the line. Stupid idiots. Lightly, Loz kicked the crest, which was now on the ground beside him.

After waiting a while, a small booth was in front of him. Interesting. "Welcome to Paixao! What is your name? Oh! And here are a couple of brochures and an electrical journal." Loz simply stared at the woman who was talking at a rapid speed, slightly overwhelmed; he decided to put on his "tough-guy" demeanor once more to make things easier. "Loz. L-O-Z." He gave a nod in the direction of the irritating woman with a smirk.

At the cafe, the Corinthian held the door open for Loz, gesturing for the bulky man to go through first. His mind was trying to come up with a good plan. While the citizens of Paixao seemed fairly scarce, partially do to the attacks, it would not be... impossible to enact his plan in the cafe. However, it would not be ideal either. The Corinthian was hardly an exhibitionist.

"...did you just arrive, Loz?" He asked nicely enough, "A table in the back... out of the hearing of prying ears would be ideal, don't you agree?" It would do no good to be so easily sighted by passer bys. The Corinthian would prefer to keep this as private as possible.
