we all cry for our own reasons [complete]

Character(s): Loz, The Corinthian, Desire, and any other character around
Content: Loz wakes up in Paixao, confused, and slightly upset.
Setting: Muspelheim Gate to Cafe Ersesat [N3]
Time: Early afternoon
Warnings: N/A (so far)

It took a while for Loz to realize that he'd been knocked out. Wait. Was it his eldest brother that knocked him out? The muscular man stumbled to his feet and looked around: there wasn't anyone he knew here. In fact, this wasn't where he was supposed to be. What? Where was this? Where here his brothers? Loz straightened himself out.

Realizing that Kadaj and Yazoo were nowhere nearby, there was no reunion currently taking place, and that Mother was probably nowhere close either, Loz did the most mature thing to do-- He tilted his head downward and held back possible signs of tears.

What was he supposed to do now? At least he had the materia...

Carrying the chest of materia, he headed toward a line of people: maybe one or two of them had seen his brothers. "See any silver-haired guys? Or Mother?" Loz asked hopefully, politely as he possibly could (which took much effort) without directing the question at anyone in particular. At times like this, any witness of his entrance would have compared it to a child who lost his source of confidence. Quickly, a blonde-haired man retorted, "Just go to the end of the line, young man." Reluctantly, he did as the man said and moved to the back of the line. Stupid idiots. Lightly, Loz kicked the crest, which was now on the ground beside him.

After waiting a while, a small booth was in front of him. Interesting. "Welcome to Paixao! What is your name? Oh! And here are a couple of brochures and an electrical journal." Loz simply stared at the woman who was talking at a rapid speed, slightly overwhelmed; he decided to put on his "tough-guy" demeanor once more to make things easier. "Loz. L-O-Z." He gave a nod in the direction of the irritating woman with a smirk.

The Corinthian felt very satisfied. In fact, he couldn't feel any more satisfied right now. He did give the chest that the man was carrying an odd little look. Ah well, it was probably some sort of supplies or something.

"I'm Jeffrey," he held out a hand, expecting a return handshake and name of course. Now, he wasn't actually named Jeffrey, but the precious name came from someone from the Corinthian's other past. Dahmer would be the last name.

Somewhere, in the back of his mind, the nightmare was disgusted with himself. Playing these sort of games again. But his pride, and perhaps whatever was left behind from the First encouraged him. As soon as Loz introduced himself, he would walk briskly over to the cafe.
