King me [complete]
Character(s): Lucifer Morningstar, anyone who wishes to pop by
Content: Uh. Not much really. Lucifer wanders and fries some dusks
Setting: Near Niflheim
Time: Dusk. lolz.
Warnings: None yet
hm. That's really all Lucifer, the Morningstar, had to say on the subject. He had left the trio of giddy idiots behind. Though, the boy, Riku had been interesting, their little reunion left nothing but mild annoyance in his mouth. It might have been better to have left the girl to get eaten by the Nobodies. Certainly a great deal more satisfying. Either way though, the deed was done and he was walking away from the quake. While the ground was unsteady, he was Lucifer and no mere tremor would impede his progress.
He would have expected this to be more of a challenge, really. The Nobodies were hardly difficult to destroy. Admittedly, they came in varying degrees of durability, but none had caused him trouble yet. Of course, he had yet to encounter any that were in his element of fire either. That would be interesting, but he wasn't looking for a fight. Lucifer was content to merely exist, outside of responsibility and outside of his father's realm.
The boy Roxas, along with the child Dib would be finding Sora and them sooner or later. It was hardly his job to play coordinator to that group. And despite their age they had all the 'hero' traits about them. It was the same attitude and probably some hidden weapon. And darkness. One of the three had been a little more than just another hero. Not his concern, though.
The same as before, the small wiggly Nobodies. They moved to meet him, as if they could somehow hurt him. Lucifer didn't even bother to acknowledge their existence before letting his fire sweep them away.
This world was certainly better than the last, even with its distractions.

The speaker sounded annoyed at best, truly pissed off at worst. When one is off the beaten track so to speak and cutting through woods, the last thing they might expect would be a wave of fire. Put into this situation, Repliku was not happy with the state of things. He was also a little toasty.
Pushing his way out of the forest, he fixed his best glare on Lucifer. While he was a clone of Riku, he had none of the original’s emotional look unless that emotion happened to be one of the darker ones. Held in one hand was Soul Reaver, the clone debating between whether or not to go put the fear of darkness into this idiot with the fire or return the favour.
“Watch what you’re doing next time!”
The words following that which was directed at Lucifer dealt primarily with Repliku’s belief that Lucifer had not been born in wedlock and went onto further point out his notion that Lucifer had probably been borne of a female dog. This idea went even further when he put forth the suggestion that Lucifer attempt to procreate with himself in a variety of positions that were either mentally damaging or against the laws of physics. Finishing this diatribe, he tacked on the suggestion that Lucifer might benefit from removing his cranium from the location below his waist that Repliku believed it was now located.
This finished fully with Repliku unleashing an attack of Dark Fiagra from his fingertips. Little did he know that he had not only colourfully insulted but let loose an attack on the worst person he possibly could have.

The former Lord of Hell raised a single eyebrow at the fire that spun his way. How easy would it be to stop, with a gesture. However, he sidestepped, the motion looking effortless and maneuvered out of the way. "...and who are you?" To ask if he was related to Riku was tempting, but if anything would give away the game too quickly.
Oh, yes, then there was the problem of the insults. That could be dealt with later. Immediate retaliation was only proof that he had been ruffled by the immature name calling. See, when Lucifer decided to exact any kind of revenge, he never used words. Threats were irrelevant. "Be nice and don't waste my time." That wasn't a threat, it was merely ... advice.

When Lucifer sidestepped his attack, he checked his urge to send another or simply do things the easy way and go after him with blade in hand. Stalking through the burnt down brush left in the aftermath of Lucifer’s attack, Repliku growled to himself. He was going to have ash smudge all over him and smell like a fire for the next hour. Well, the second wasn’t so bad really. Drawing closer, the similarity to Riku was amazing. The only place they differed was in clothing colour. Where Riku had worn yellow, Repliku’s was a blood shaded red. The blue was black. Otherwise, it seemed they had the same tasted in clothing.
Blue eyes glinted in anger as he stared out from beneath his silver bangs. A breath was taken, Repliku reminding himself that beating the ever-loving shit out of people wasn’t the best way to get information on where Namine, Kairi, and Sora were, as attractive as doing just that might be. At the helpful advice, he rolled his eyes.
“Yeah, yeah… whatever. My name is Riku, and I’m looking for my friends, just like everyone else in this fucked up place. I was looking at least until someone decided to start throwing fire all around. What the hell, man? Don’t you look where you’re toasting?”
no subject
"...Ah, Riku, did you say? You really should take another name, that one is already in use," He couldn't help the vague amusement that seeped into his voice. What the hell, indeed. While some more than human entities seemed to think puns were beneath them, Lucifer really rather liked them.
no subject
"Where? I swear to the darkness that when I find out what arse went and made a clone of me, I'm going to strangle them slowly and take their heart to make the lowest heartless in existance. Then I'll kill that."
He could have gone on for an hour or so in that same vein. Revenge was something he was quite good at. Digging his blade's tip into the ground, he leaned against it while dragging out his little gizmo to bring up the map feature.
"I'm Riku, damn it. That other fuck is a clone someone made. Mind telling me where you saw it last so I can escort it to whatever afterlife they have?"
no subject
"...I'll assure you, the afterlife is not nearly as permanent as you think it is."
So, perhaps, he was a little bored. If he was the type who could keep to himself, he wouldn't be Lucifer, First of the Fallen. This was far more interesting than looking for the mute angel.

“What do you mean? Dead is pretty much dead last I checked. Seems final to me.”
That sensation of surrealness swept Repliku again, same as when he had woken up in this weird place. Maybe it was one of the Worlds that he hadn’t gotten to before, but damn if it wasn’t weird. He supposed he should have been happy that he wasn’t surrounded by carnivorous plants. Eyeing Lucifer, he pushed the hair out of his eyes irritably.
“How did you do that anyways? Did Maleficent send you?”
no subject
"Nobody sends me anywhere."
Which was the truth, and that was more true here than ever before. Yahweh did not reach this far, that he was sure of. Deciding that the copy was not as interesting as he first though, Lucifer began to move away. If the copy wished to follow he could, but to linger here and engage in conversation would be a waste of time.
no subject
"Hey! You didn't answer my questions!"
Taking off after him, Repliku reined in his temper again. Whoever this man was, he didn't seem to give a damn about anything, and he had more than a small degree of power. He wasn't about to forget either that the stranger had mentioned knowing where his copy was. Catching up to his side, Repliku fell in step with him as best he could.
"You didn't tell me who you were or where my clone was yet."
no subject
"...I usually don't reveal information for free, nor to people who intentions to kill. It isn't polite," Yes, not polite. Lucifer wasn't one who held politeness above all else, but he did believe in simple etiquette. Sending someone off to kill someone else, especially after gaining some information from them was simply rude.
no subject
In his mind, that was what was happening. This imposter had came here and was leeching away the things that were his. Sora, Kairi, and Namine` were probably being tricked by that creature right now.
"They don't understand either, and I gave my word. I said I'd protect Namine`, and if I'm not there he might do something to her or them."
He stopped there in the road, hands clenched before him. No, this man probably didn't get it. He'd probably never had anything he valued taken from him or gone off and gotten lost. He'd probably never given his vow on something either. Repliku was just going to have to find them on his own then. Squaring his shoulders and lifting his chin, the clone nodded to himself. Chasing after some stranger like a puppy wasn't going to get them to him.
I'll just have to find them myself somehow then.
no subject
"Tell me who Namine is," Lucifer was interested in that name. While not being nearly as all-knowing as his (All-Knowing) father, he did have a better grasp on the big picture than most. "And I will tell you where I last saw Riku."
However, he was not going to bend on that. This, he was sure, was the copy. Both seemed to be rather similar, so which was the original would probably be irrelevant.
no subject
“Namine` is my friend from the Island. We grew up together, and I promised her that I would take care of her and protect her. She’s sort of small, smaller than me at least. Thin, even for a girl, and with long blonde hair. She looks… defenseless.”
Repliku’s voice changed as he spoke of her. There was a warmth to it, but not the sort that came when a person spoke of a loved one. It was more that of an owner talking about their favourite pet.
“And I’m Riku,” he reminded the man. “Don’t you have a name?”
The usual insolence was kept out of his words as much as Repliku could manage.
“I promised her I’d be there, that I’d take care of her. Sora and Kairi too since they’re the type that would step off a cliff following the light that’s nothing more than a reflection of the sun. They’re afraid like that. They need me.”
no subject
"You may call me Lucifer, if you wish." He had other names, but none of them were right for the situation. If the copy insisted on being called Riku, perhaps he would indulge it. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Riku. Though I confess to being more than a bit perplexed as to having already met a 'you' only moments ago. The one you claim to be your clone, he is already in the company of Sora and Kairi. They seemed glad to have him."
no subject
To Repliku, it was an odd name, but then again, he supposed that Riku wasn't exactly the most common of one. It was better than saying 'hey you' everytime he wanted to know something. Not having been the religious sort, the meaning or who he could be talking to went right over his head.
"It's... a pleasure too."
Social niceties were not one of his better points. Trotting along at the man's side, his eyes lit up in delight at the mention of his friends. Impatience was beginning to eat at him, having heard already that his clone had been spotted, but not that he had already found his friends.
"Where did you see them? They could be in danger! That thing might have been sent to kidnap or kill them. How can you be so calm when they could be in danger? They're not... they're..."
He trailed off there, not having a nice way to put that they were good and stupid instead of understanding how darker minds thought and would take advantage of them. Scowling he glared up at Lucifer.
"Where are they? What direction did they go in?"
no subject
"I am rarely wrong in my assumptions, but it seems they are safe from immediate harm. However, there are more than just a few parties searching for them," He was reminded of Dib and Roxas. How interesting, that everything seemed to be spiraling around to center on Sora. The boy was indeed a fulfiller of the hero archetype. Now, what would happen to him. With Riku (either one, it seemed) at his side the boy was surely more secure, even if some darkness was seated in the older Riku.
Then there was the girl (or girls, now with Namine in the picture). Quite an interesting set up.
no subject
"Who? Who else is looking for them? What's going on, damn it? Why won't you tell me where you saw them if it was just a few minutes ago? I could catch up with them! They need me! Don't you understand that?"
Aggravation roughened his voice, Repliku never having been the type to disguise what he was up to or wanted.
"You said you would tell me where you last saw that clone of me."
Distrust crept into his eyes, something that looked to be completely at home there. Everything darker, even emotions, set easier on him. A smile would have looked ill at ease.
"Are you going to or not?"
no subject
"A boy named Roxas, I believe. By now, Roxas may have found Sora and Kairi. And of course, Riku." Even if he was going to call the copy by a name, that did not mean he would unname the other. No, that would be useless.
Perhaps he should play along a little, since aggravating the Riku-copy wouldn't give him any amusement. "...They're back that way," A hand wave towards where he had left the trio, "...very close."
no subject
Puzzlement took over from the anger. The name was wholly unknown to Repliku, the teenager losing his temper for the time being.
"Who the hell is Roxas?" he asked, more to himself than Lucifer. That sharp, suspicious light came back to his eyes. Perhaps this Roxas person was someone that his clone had brought along to harm his friends. That made perfect sense to his paranoid mind. Of course his copy wouldn't work alone. He certianly wouldn't if he had the option. Extra power helped ensure a victory.
A slow, vicious smile curled on his lips like burning parchment until he realized Lucifer had called the clone 'Riku'. A flash of that fury came back before being quelled.
"I'm Riku," he restated before glancing down the road hungrily. Touching Soul Eater, he gave the lord of Hell a grin and a wave.
"Thanks, Lucifer. Good luck with wherever you're going."
With that, he headed down the road in the direction Lucifer had pointed. He had to find them and quickly. Surely they would lead to Namine`.
