Gotta catch a train [Completed]
Character(s): Sephiroth, eventually Kadaj and various Turks
Content: While en route to his rendezvous with Rufus Shinra, Sephiroth is intercepted by Kadaj. Insanity ensues.
Setting: Somewhere east of Paixao Central Station, and heading in that general direction.
Time: Mid-afternoon
Warnings: Swearing, violence, and bloodshed. Well, if Kadaj and his summons can shed blood, that is...
Sephiroth had had better days. First, there had been the unfortunate encounter with whatever those creatures had been; then, the strange man named Vincent. They had parted company after he checked something on the journal he carried, which had prompted Sephiroth to do the same. After spending the better part of an hour speaking with a man named Shinra and a person who claimed to be somehow related to him, he'd started moving toward the central station marked on his journal's map.
This whole thing stunk to high heaven. None of it added up; President Shinra, dead? His son in charge of everything? Sure, it would probably happen like that, but that would take -years-.
And now, a person claiming to be related to him, and who was quite obsessed with meeting him. A man named Kadaj, who Shinra claimed was one of Hojo's science projects gone wrong. A man who was supposed to have been created as a replacement for himself, alongside two others...

no subject
Shaking his head furiously to himself, he started after him again, resisting the urge to glare and pout in the other direction. Mother would fix everything. Sephiroth's ignorance would only be temporary; he had to remember that. There was nothing to be worried about. He repeated those words in his mind until he was calm enough to reply without betraying his feelings again, a hint of anger still in his voice as he asked, "Just to the station? You're forgetting that I'm going to be speaking with him too, sir. It would be much faster if we both went. I'll leave you two in relative solitude while you speak, though, if that makes you feel more comfortable."
It didn't seem like anything he was saying was filtering through. Kadaj doubted addressing the man the way he was and speaking in that tone would really help matters, but he was not going to be brushed off so easily. He should probably start genuinely calling Sephiroth "sir," then, if only to make things run more smoothly. Ugh.
