Something Wicked this Way comes [Complete]
Character(s): Tod, Naminé, Kyo, Dipp, Kinoko
Content: After Sora and Riku leave, the remaining people in the room are left to figure out what to do.
Setting: Actua Are
Time: Night? Evening?
Warnings: None yet.
It was always troubling to wake from a nightmare and find that it wasn't a nightmare at all; it was real. Naminé gasped for air when she heard the screams from below. "It can't be, not now," she whispered. She wrestled herself from the covers just as Sora and Riku left. She barely took any notice as she ran over the the window.
Whatever she might have said then got caught in her throat as she looked out. It didn't take her long to figure out where the screams had come from. There they were, prowling along the streets. The dusks.
She bit her lip and turned away from the window. she couldn't take it any longer. It was then she realised that Sora and Riku had left and it was now just her, Kyo, and the boy. They would probably be wondering what was going on right now, but she didn't know what to say to them. Instead she moved from her position at the window, going to sit on her bed once again. She covered her ears in a vain attempt to make the screams stop. What was she supposed to do now?

Kyo had been awake since the beginning of the attack. He would have liked to have gone with Sora and Riku, but he knew that the only way he could fight would be in his true form, and that should be saved for a last resort. It had been decided that Kyo could be of the most use staying behind to protect Namine and the Tod.
Kyo thought the fox boy very odd, especially considering that fact that he actually used to be a fox, and wasn’t simply cursed, but was actually an animal.
Kyo walked into the room and saw Namine curled up on the bed with her hands over her ears. He felt an odd pain in his chest; her actions seemed so similar to something Tohru would do. He wanted to try to comfort her. “Don’t worry, I’m sure that Riku and Sora can handle this, and I can protect you until this is over.” Kyo made and odd face that might have been an attempt at a smile.

It was only when a particularly loud scream echoed up from below that he shot up, still sensitive ears perked and eyes wide. "WHA-HUH?! What's -- " Showing every bit of his 'morning grace', Tod scrambled to get up only to crash to the floor in a panicked mess of pillows, sheets, and flailing furry limbs. (A guy could really get to hate mornings around here.)

Something Kyo had said worried her. "Sora and Riku are gone?" she asked. Yes, they were very strong but... how many nobodies were out there? Could they really take them on? She was also worried about Riku's state. If Ansem came back again, what would he do?
Her thoughts were cut off by another scream, causing her to shudder and attempt to block the sounds with her hands again. It wasn't doing much good at all. There was another loud crash, this time coming from inside the room. She gasped and jumped up from the bed. They had made it inside! But when she turned to look, she found that Tod had fallen off his bed. Naminé collapsed onto the bed in relief, although even that feeling was short lived. She couldn't take much more of this. She squeezed her eyes tightly shut. How long was this going to go on?

Kyo sighed and turned to face his two companions. “So, they aren’t from my world, do ether of you know what they are?”

Wasn't much that set folks to screeching when you lived on a farm. The Hunter was loud, but he'd never screamed. Just flat-out yelled. He pulled himself slowly back up onto the bed, wiggling to try and get loose from the sheet and get a peek out the window to get a peek at just what all the fuss was about. His eyes widened. Those definately weren't any chickens out there, that was for sure.
Shaking himself free of the last touches of sleepiness, the once-fox finally managed to dislodge himself, quickly turning to Namine once he had. He huddled further into the coat Riku'd given him, ears drooping and a look of utter dismay and hurt etched onto his face. "... Y'mean Widow Riku's gone?"
The other fellow, Sora, he was nice enough too... but it was Riku he was most concerned with. He'd been so nice to him, hadn't laughed at him once. On top of that, even if he knew they weren't one and the same, that hair of his still made Tod think back to the Widow back home. He'd gotten attached to the silver-haired boy, and fast.
Now he'd gone and left Tod alone too?

Kinoko made an 'eep' noise and turned to back through the fworp, except it was gone now and instead she bumped into Dipp. Well, so much for being brave, huh? It was a persony and another sort of person. And another. And they were all so tall.

"Excuse us," he began calmly, tossing his head a little to move some of his dark hair from his brilliantly light eyes. He glanced down at his mushroom of a cousin, placing a hand between her shoulders and let her stay there near him. "Riku sent us here, said it would be safer." He assessed the situation quickly, and made it easier for everyone that way. "My name's Dipp, this is Kinoko."

Two people had appeared in the room. The presence of the portal sent a shiver through her, despite her attempts to suppress it. She had seen them too many times before. She was wary of them at first, but they didn't seem like they meant any harm. Especially after they mentioned Riku.
"Riku? You've seen him? Where is he? Is he all right? I--" she cut off sharply, pressing a hand to her mouth. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't question you so much, after just arriving here. I'm Naminé. Uhh, the room is very small, but make yourselves comfortable," she said shyly. The last phrase sounded awkward to her. She wasn't very good at meeting people, was she?
