The morning light gleamed off of glass windows, though its light was not genuine. The same light streamed through every building, filling the nooks and crannies of Paixao, relieving it from the choking cover of night. The artificial trees glowed brilliantly with the same lifeless light. No lines stood behind them. No people awaited permission to gain entrance into the city.

There was no sound… no life…

But hours passed and the citizens soon awoke, beginning their monotonous routine. The streets soon became crowded and bustling. Chatter entwined with the morning air.

And then so did the screams.

Another being made its way into the morning hassle: the Nobodies. Beings with no heart… those who were left behind… empty shells of what they once were. And these were unique Nobodies. The Dancers… fluid in motion… every step precise… They ravaged through the streets, picking and choosing the worthiest of targets only to find none.

Who would quench their thirst for battle?

She peered up at the-- whoever that was up there, and she patiently awaited the help that never came. All right. She could handle this. Men were creeps, anyway, and she didn't really need her help. When he peered back down at her, she glared up at him and grit her teeth, not at encouraged by his words. Instead, she kind of wanted to punch him in the face.

"Probably," she sneered, rolling her eyes, and continued the arduous task of climbing up the side of the wall. She thankfully managed to keep her thoughts to herself, though this was only due to her needing to concentrate.

Finally, she pulled herself over the edge and onto the roof and promptly collapsed, exhausted. Her arms and legs felt like they had bricks attached to them, and she was fairly certain that if it wasn't for the discomfort, she would have wasted no time giving the cloaked man a piece of her mind.

After a few moments of remaining still, she pushed herself up into a seated position and looked up at him. "Oh, my darling rescuer~" she batted her eyelashes, feigning adoration. "What ever would I have done without you?"
