The morning light gleamed off of glass windows, though its light was not genuine. The same light streamed through every building, filling the nooks and crannies of Paixao, relieving it from the choking cover of night. The artificial trees glowed brilliantly with the same lifeless light. No lines stood behind them. No people awaited permission to gain entrance into the city.

There was no sound… no life…

But hours passed and the citizens soon awoke, beginning their monotonous routine. The streets soon became crowded and bustling. Chatter entwined with the morning air.

And then so did the screams.

Another being made its way into the morning hassle: the Nobodies. Beings with no heart… those who were left behind… empty shells of what they once were. And these were unique Nobodies. The Dancers… fluid in motion… every step precise… They ravaged through the streets, picking and choosing the worthiest of targets only to find none.

Who would quench their thirst for battle?

Megara had hopped a train not too long after her arrival into the city-- as soon as she was sure the mode of transportation would take her where she felt she might be able to find a way out, which took a bit longer than she'd wanted. All right, a lot longer. Too long, but she eventually became sure.

Her first stop, it was decided, would be Vanaheim. The decision was hard, at first, mainly because so much of Paixao confused or fascinated her, but duty eventually won out over curiousity. She had to get back to Greece, or at least run into Hercules or Hades.

...She had been expecting to search for a way out after reaching Vanaheim's gate area, but what she found as she approached was something she was not prepared to deal with. The nimble creatures, while strangely alluring, were obviously not welcome in this area of the city-- that was, if the screams accounted for anything.

And they didn't look friendly, anyway.

"...Great," she huffed irritatedly and drooped her shoulder, pushing her way as calmly as possible through the mass of screaming, panicked people to find some place to hide until these things left. Every entrance was impossible to get through, as every open building was being swarmed by people. No problem; she was a good climber-- and, with that thought, scoured the fronts and sides of the nearest building, climbing onto boxes and other such things as she attempted to climb herself to safety.

"...How do I always manage to get in these messes?"
