FOOD! And little brothers [COMPLETED]
Character: Edward Elric
Content: Ed starts heading past the gates and follows the map to Auntie Unde's where his brother awaits him. Possible Nobody annoyances
Setting: From Niflheim [G10] to Auntie Unde's [H 7] And it's rainy and cold.
Time: Late Afternoon
Mood:
I'm a HUNGRY!
Ed happily finishes the last message to his brother, assuring Al that he will keep an eye out for the 'white things' (Which are, in fact, starting to take some interest in him, as much as he can see out of the corner of his eye.) He switches the light box back to the map and eyes it carefully, committing the streets and various landmarks to memory so he wouldn't have to open the journal/box again unless necessary.
He sees the white floaty things out of the corners of his eye and verifies that they are definitely following him. They most certainly are not any manner of creature he's fought before. His stomach growls impatiently, but Ed ignores it for the time being. If he gets a chance to touch one of them, he'll be able to figure out its composition and it will make defeating them less messy. Or so he hopes. Many times in the past he thought that an operation would be an easy task and it turns out to be a royal mess up leading to more questions than answers.
Ed snaps the journal shut with a flick of his fleshed hand, tucking it under his arm and looks around to orient himself. The streets are cobblestoned, and with the increasing inclement weather, it looks like not many are out. Maybe that means he'll have an unobstructed journey to his brother.
Al. He can hardly contain his elation that Al's been found safe and sound. Why he'd be in a supply shop was a bit of a mystery, though. Ed shrugs it off. His brother has done stranger things. But it wasn't like he could actually buy anything. Ed usually carried the money. But Al did say WE, so that means he's with others. Al always found it easier to make friends.
So Ed continues on his journey, pretending not to take too much notice to the white things. At least not until they decide to get closer, at any rate. He keeps his journal tucked under his arm and his hands in his pockets. He figures he'll get a bag there, too, to carry this box. And it is best to keep his hands free for the time being, at least until he gets to where Al is.
