Character(s): (Player H) Enju Akihara
Content: Aki enters Paixao and falls in love with the architecture.What a weirdo.
Setting: Muspelheim gates
Time: Mid-afternoon
He had just closed his eyes to concentrate as he waited for his target to come into view. A moment later and the bright rays of a midday sun shone through his shut lids. Opening them, Aki examined the new surroundings. This was no longer a grey-topped roof in Edge-- the gate was clearly not the same architecture. Aki frowned just slightly, eyebrow quirking with his displeasure at the change. This would only be the second time he would fail a mission...Veld was going to give him hell for it. Irritatedly, the Turk adjusted the slim-framed glasses between two fingers and began walking forward.
In line to the entrance to this... place, Aki made short note of the behaviors of the guard. They were asked questions, but never truly answered. Evasive to a fault, he supposed. There was definitely something odd about this place, but he figured he would have to find that out by himself. The guards only gave you pamphlets, the name of the gate, city, a "journal", and a weird look.
"Here you are sir, can I please have your name?" His eyes narrowed considerably at this, but the woman didn't seem to notice. Didn't she see that he wasn't quite up for talking at the moment? Shifting his weight and causing the tip of his katana to scrape against the ground, the man finally decided upon a name.
"Hunter." A pen scratched against paper as the woman hurridly wrote the name down, clearly happy with his answer. She then handed him the journal and he stalked off, ignoring the pamphlets. This city was a detour to his mission, it was causing him to fail said mission, and as he stepped through the gate, Aki decided he would have no such thin--
--g. Unless, of course, the city was absolutely glorious. All irritation faded in 3.4 seconds at the sight. The architecture was old, but still sturdy enough. Cobblestone set streets, archways he had only seen in textbooks and maybe the outskirts of Wutai.
Maybe this wouldn't be such a horrible detour after all.
