Out of the Blue....Crystal, that is. [Complete]

Character(s): Lucrecia (and whoever else wants to join in)
Content: Lucrecia arrives in Paixao, confused, of course.
Setting: Vanaheim gate
Time: Early Afternoon

This was... surreal.

Lucrecia ran a hand through her long brown hair and sighed, observing her surroundings.  The large gate in front of her read: "Vanaheim" making her wonder how she got to this new plane even more.

It didn't make sense...she was sealed away from the world. How could she be here? Alive...breathing? Well, she knew she was still somewhat alive within the crystal, but she was never supposed to awaken. Who had...? Why was she...? She shook her head angrily at the mass of questions that flew into her mind. Lucrecia knew she wasn't going to get an answer out here, so she might as well just enter the city and seek information there.

When she went to walk through the gate, she realized...how much her joints hurt. Being in the same position for 30 years really takes it's toll, Lucrecia decided it would be best to find a place to rest once she entered. She had managed to remove the pain from her legs...so at least she could walk with no problem.

A man with blonde hair and blue eyes caught her attention, he stood in front of  the gate and simply asked for her name, sounding very...monotone. Lucrecia was a bit startled, but answered him anyway.

"
L-Lucrecia Crescent....who are you?" instead of an answer, the man shoved a journal into her hands and pushed her on her way, into the city.

Lucrecia thought that was more then a little weird, but shrugged it off. Deciding she had more important things to worry about....like finding out where she was and how she got here.

She remembered very little, the whole transition here was a blur. The only thing she could pry out of her memory was his voice telling her everything was alright. Lucrecia knew when she heard his voice; she wanted to reach out to him...to be with him.

But in the crystal, she knew that would never happen.

Maybe it was her will to see him that allowed her to be released...?

No...That was silly. After all she had done, the planet wouldn't be granting any of her wishes.

" -- SLUDGE ATTACK, NOW!"

James was just about squealing with poorly disguised excitement as the attack hit home, dead center. Things were looking up! ... even if he didn't have the foggiest idea where he was. Or the rest of his team for that matter. That pikachu was getting too strong for its own good, he swore. It'd blasted them off plenty of times before, but never this far! (Forget a bonus, there was sure to be a big fat promotion in store when they finally snagged that thing!)

But just wait until the three of them got back together again! This was definately his lucky day. First he'd found what he was sure was some rare new species of wiggly pokemon, and now Weezing -- ! "Go on Weezing! Finish it off with tackle!"

The once-pokemon grunted as he waddled unsteadily up to the nobody in all his naked warty purple glory, then flung himself full-force towards the target without any reservation. He quickly realized tackling a foe like that was a whole lot easier when you could float it off, but... eh. It didn't really matter. He wasn't about to complain to Master about it.

"Wonderful~!, " James squealed, readying a pokeball in his hand. Now came the easy part! And no twerps in sight to take his prize out from under his nose! He flung the little sphere, smiling growing ever wider as it neared the squirming, mystery 'pokemon'...

... only to have it all come crashing down as it belted right off with a loud 'thunk' as simply as a baseball would've on his own head. No flash of red light, no nothing. "Huh?!" Maybe it was defective or something? Maybe... money'd been tight lately, so they had been sticking with the cheaper models. He took another out, frowining determindly. "Okay... let's try again!"

Five 'faulty' balls later, he still hadn't given up hope. Hey, -one- of them was bound to be good! ... right? (Maybe if he just tossed them all at once...)

"Huh?" James stopped with a start as Lucrecia spoke to him, posed and ready to heave yet another of the pokeballs at the prone creature. He threw her an odd look, arm flopping back at his side. "Can't you tell? It's a rare and valuable -- "

... waaait a second. Maybe it was better that she couldn't. How did he know she wasn't just going to up and catch this thing for herself if he told her just what it was? (Even if he didn't exactly know either. But that was aside from the point!) "I mean, it's, uhhh... it's nothing. Nope. Nothing at all~!, " he chirped, offering her a wide and completely unsuspicious grin as he tucked the pokeball behind his back. (Nevermind his nervous little chuckle.)

Only to get handed one of the 'faulty' ones right back. Cue weird look number two. "It's a pokeball. You know. For the pokemon? Everyone uses them?" Except for the twerp and that pikachu. Ugh. How much easier would it be to swipe that thing if it came pre-packaged?

Speaking of pokemon. The silver-white thing didn't look like it was going anywhere soon, so no real need to keep Weezing out. James wanted to surprise the others if he could. He could just imagine the looks on their faces!

Casual as could be, he flicked out the poison-type's ball and recalled him in a flash of red light. "Haven't got a clue where we are." He thought back to the man at the gate, frowning faintly. "... think he said something about a Pie Show somewhere, though." He'd never heard of anything like that, but it sounded good. They hadn't gotten a decent meal in awhile now. Heee~, not even an hour into this place and the perfect target to strike had already presented itself! Easy as pie! (Hehe.)
